Has anyone ever booked a 2-bedroom LO (=connecting 1-bed + studio) for the first part of a trip & then just a 1-bed or studio for the last part (dropping the connected room) & been able to stay in the same 1-bed or studio for the entire stay??

I know you can’t keep the same room if switching categories… but technically, this isn’t. Just thinking through how to book my next stay w/o needing to change rooms 😉

Thanks for any insight & experience with this ☺️

The problem is that they can’t keep you in part if they need both of those rooms for a 2 bedroom and the other 1 bedroom snd studio open that day you leave might not be near each other

Most reports I have seen is people needing to move but I do remember one report where they said they had to vacate only to be put back in the one side.

That’s kinda what I was starting to fear might happen. I’ll probably just book 2 studios, and then end the trip with a “new” 1-bed reservation (with one overlapping night with 1 of the studios so I never have to be homeless 😂).

Thanks!! 😊

I do that sometimes when I have to move from a studio to the larger unit.

This past Oct I booked a boardwalk view studio at BWV for our first night (sat) and the following nights in a boardwalk view 2 bedroom at BWV when the family was coming. Next morning I went to inquire about my 2 bedroom starting Sunday and they said I could stay in the studio I had SAT and they will have HK clean the 1 bedroom side.

Several years ago we had a 1 br. for a couple nights followed by a 2 br. @ Jambo (all 2 br.s are lock offs there) I checked at the front desk when we arrived to see if we’d have to move & they said yes, ran down before packing up on moving day to check again - they said we were moving, so we packed up, left our stuff at bell services & after several hours got our room ready text putting us back in our original 1 br. + the next door studio 😂.

Even after checking that morning… oh my 😬🤦🏻‍♀️🤪

I will also mention that several resorts with 2BR lock offs also have dedicated studios and 1BR units which can make assignor Jenga harder.for that kind of split stay.
