2-bdrm in August??

We're in the process of buying (we're waiting on ROFR) and we want to plan a trip for the last week of August at OKW. We're hoping to be closed and ready to go by the end of March. Do you all think that we'll have any trouble getting a 2-bdrm at OKW? TIA!

Hard to predict - lately, there have been quite a few reports of things booking quickly after the 7 month window opens. You may have to waitlist for some or all of your days, or there may be availability elsewhere. Since you'll be booking about 5 months in advance, you can use your points at any DVC resort for the August trip. If I had to guess, I'd say you'll get your OKW 2 bedroom. Hope I'm right!

Thank you! I hope you're right too! We're planning on taking my mom and step-dad for their 10th anniversary and need a 2 bedroom. Hopefully we'll be able to get in at OKW (home), but if not, then it's not a big deal. We're not picky.

We booked a trip in March 2007 for the last week in August. We were looking at either that week or the week before. The only place that didn't have anything was BCV. We changed our reservations a couple of times (because of our schedules) but had VWL booked then switched to BWV. Finally we did a split stay at SSR and AKV. OKW is on the larger size although not as big as SSR. The last week in August is probably the least busy week in Aug. and I only speculate that it's because many schools are back in session by then (and all the schools in FL were). No one can say for sure if you'll have trouble getting it but the above mentioned things are in your favor.
