well let me preface this by saying my hubby's and my trip has exploded to include our 2 adult (21/25) sons and a girlfriend! Our 4 seasons reservation had to be cancelled and more roomy accommodations found. We are meeting up with the "kids" post cruising on the Fantasy Nov 11, 2017. Currently booked into a 2 bdrm villa for the king bed master and the 2 queen separated bedroom.... however I've never stayed the Villa side. Are the villas nice? Are there recommended views or room location? Ie) pool view, bottom floor near lobby or such?? I don't want too far a walk to transportation and pool etc... My family usually adores CL at AKL. In lieu of CL if we stay at the villas we will do the deluxe ddp so we can do signature meals at night and use credits for drinks or whatever the kids may want without hassle. Another thing we considered was booking 2 club level rooms at AKL with just the regular ddp. Hoping a discount may come out for rooms eventually. As a family in 2008 our first WDW trip was CL at AKL and the family adored the resort! I know they wouldn't be sad If we chose this resort again. Would you recommend I keep with the 2 bdrm villa at BC for space, pool and location (Epcot/ DHS/ during F&W) or go with ambience, relaxed environment , club level at AKL??? Having a hard time deciding what would be best and I know I'm driving my poor, sweet, amazingly patient TA batty!!! Any insight??

There won't be additional discounts on rooms for February at this point.

I would definitely go with the 2-bedroom villa at BCV. The villas are fantastic and you are literally steps away from Epcot and the bus area to get to MK and AK. There is a quiet pool right at the villas, but you are also very close to BC Marketplace, the lobby and SAB. We LOVE BCV. It is so peaceful and a 2-bedroom will be HUGE compared to 2 AKL rooms. And with a full kitchen, you can create your own "CL lounge" by getting a grocery delivery (or just going to BC Marketplace) and stocking your fridge with drinks, snacks, etc. When we stayed in a 2-bedroom at BCV, we were assigned a first floor room with a wooded view. The patio was so lovely, but I would be happy on any floor there. I did prefer that over a pool view, but I'm not a big pool view fan as I'm always nervous about noise issues.

We've stayed AKL CL as well and it was lovely, but the rooms felt very small to me and AKL is a bit remote for my tastes. I love walking to EP, DHS and everything the Boardwalk area has to offer. And the extra room is such a plus.

BC is my favorite resort, so I would go with BC, especially during F&W. I love AK, too, but the convenience to Epcot can't be beat, especially during this time of year.

BCV for sure. The full kitchen just for breakfast, cold drinks and snacks is great. The living room to all be together is wonderful. The location during F & W can not be beat. There are no special views at the BCV like at some other resorts. Just a pool or woods view. The Villa building is set behind the main BC and does not look out over SAB

Thank you hopefully ☺ what view do you recommend/ is ground floor a good request? Close to lobby?? We will have deluxe ddp if we go this route. As of today it is the confirmed choice, would take a significant discount to change plans. Was hoping with deluxe ddp we'd have enough credits with the snacks we wouldn't need much extra for the room -- however I'm thinking ordering some milk and cereal or bagels and cream cheese/ peanut butter / jam and some canned soda and chips might be a good idea! I'm thinking for food and wine time just being in this area will be a big plus! I'm hoping for a king bed room with 2 queen beds for the kids -- beginning to think this will be a good resort to stick with!

I usually request "Water view, near elevator". A "water view" will get you a view of the Cove Pool, quiet pool, or the canal that runs in the rear of the property. But beware, there is also a service road beyond the canal and some find it noisy. I don't find it that way at all. If you want to avoid this risk, request "Woods View".

We are 3 adults who go during F & W as well. We love the proximity to Epcot and the ability to walk over and back whenever we feel like it.
I usually place a Garden Grocer order as well. We do do the regular DDP, so I don't "cook" in the Villa at all. I have, on some trips, had things left over,
I order: Fruit, Juice, breakfast pastries, soda, water, coffee, beer, wine, cheese and crackers and a few other snacks.
On the DDP - including the DxDDP - you can use your snack credits for F & W food choices. It is a great use of snack credits for the more expensive choices. They can not be used for alcoholic drinks.
Have a Great time.

If you booked a cash reservation through Disney, you will be assigned a dedicated 2-bedroom with one king, one queen bed and the pullout sofa. Unless, of course, there is some type of maintenance issue and they put you in a different unit, but that is the default room for cash reservations. We've stayed in one of these units and I actually slept on the pullout a few nights (my DH snores) and it was quite comfortable!

We had a woods view on the first floor (room 133 to be exact) and we LOVED it. It's just steps from the villa entrance so we were close to the quiet pool, BC marketplace and the bus stop. It was also very quiet.

If you have a touring plans subscription, you can see the location of each 2-bedroom and it may give you a good idea of where you would like your room.

I believe in the refurb they updated the dedicated BCV 2BRs so all the dedicateds now have 2 queens in the second bedroom.
Thank you Aurora! yes, my TA told me we would have 2 queen beds, it even states 2 queens on the WDW website for the 2nd bedroom, and yes we are on a cash reservation but she said i don't need to request the 2 queen beds, that is what the default is for the 2 bedroom villa

Thank you Martha :) sounds like a woods view could be a good location! would love to be close to the pool, bus stop and Market place!
