2-bdrm 4 months out?

We're in the process of buying a resale for OKW through TTS and waiting on ROFR. By the time everything is hopefully said and done, we'll have about 4 months to book our trip. We're taking my parents with us for their anniversary so we'd like to get a 2-bdrm at OKW for 5 nights, and then after they leave, if available, switch over to a 1-bdrm value at AKV for 3 nights. What do you all think our chances of getting it are? I'm more worried about the 2-bdrm. TIA!

My take is that nothing is impossible, but that does not mean that it will be easy. One year I got a 2 BR ressie at BCV one time less than a month before arrival. However, the key thing is to be flexible and have a backup resort selection just in case.

There is a chance. I just booked a 2 BR at SSR yesterday for April 12-19. I have never had a problem booking short notice at OKW or SSR. I guess there is just more to go around.

I just cancelled our OKW Easter trip this morning and booked a 2BR at SSR for June 8-18. OKW was not available until the 10th.

Are you interested in late August/September? I think you'll get what you want at OKW, I think the value may be harder because there are fewer of them. However, I hope you get it all!

Yes, we're looking at the last 2 weeks of August.
