2 back to back reservations cleaning question

I’m currently on hold for a dvc cm to answer this question but thought I’d check here too-
We have 2 back To back reservations coming up at BLT. My son booked the first 4 nights and I booked the next 3 nights. Both 2 br dedicated lake view. Dvc has noted our reservation numbers on both resorts and I was told they would make every effort to keep us in the same villa if possible. My question is with cleaning. Since we will technically be checkout out and then checking back in, will our villa be cleaned by mousekeeping? Just trash and towel? I read
they eliminated the option to add a full service cleaning but didn’t know if maybe they’d clean since they are 2 separate reservations.
 
When they make it continuous to keep you in the same room, it is treated as one for housekeeping.

You will get trash and towel on Day 4. We do this regularly and have yet to ever be asked to change rooms and I think housekeeping is a big reason.

You said DVC noted both your reservation numbers. Does that mean you have 2 different numbers?
 

We just had 2 separate reservations at SSR - asked to stay in the same 1 bedroom and it was approved at checkin. Had housekeeping knocking on the door the morning of the switchover. Had the housekeeping manager calling to say our villa wasn’t cleaned and they needed to get in. They all thought we were leaving. Our keys no longer worked at the end of the first reservation. We got it all worked out, but don’t be surprised if it isn’t a seamless transition.
 
I think that's because of the 2 different reservations.numbers. They think the first ressie is leaving so they can clean I guess.

Did you make sure at check in at the front desk it was connected? Just curious because we do this all the time and always check with the front desk when we arrive.

We did. The CM said we were all set for the full 8 nights when we checked in. She supposedly marked it in her system. Said we didn’t have to come back to the front desk for the whole trip. Didn’t quite work out like she said!

We do this almost every trip with having three memberships and honestly never had it happen.
