Just caught up. I'm sure you will have plenty to do in Anaheim for the 11 days. I can't believe how quickly your trip is creeping up! As for your BF thinking your a nut job for taking photos of your food, don't worry. Steve constantly rolls his eyes at me but still hands me the camera, pushes his plate forward and moves his hands from the shot.

Can't wait to see your FE gifts. I am still undecided if we are doing them again.

We had the 14 day DL passes. We loved them as even when we did a tour to say Legoland or San Diego, we could pop into the park at night, so I think you will be pleased you got the longer passes.

I hope you love AKL too, it is our favourite resort, well it's my son's favourite resort and it also has our favourite restaurants on property. I have lots of pics of the resort in my TR.

I'm in Melbourne for just 1 night on each side. trying to work out if we can hire a car from Melbourne to Hobart one way but apparently its not that easy!!

OK Im back from the wedding and everything else that has been happening and as I promised FR Gifts.

I went with things that I thought were Kinda or very Australian.
The front tells everyone whats inside the pack.
EG. Vegemite , Minties, a few Cadbury Favorites, Chuppa Chups, Old fashion Pascalls Bonbons, and of course Tim tams.

I just got free postcards of Vista print and put an explanation of everything on them then just put everything in a plastic candy bag. and the on the back is just some Vista Print return address labels that say Thank you. I also got some business cards to put with my tips as well and it came to a grand total of $14.00 posted, I got everything for free and only paid for postage I was very stoked with that.
Anyways without further a-do the FE Gifts.

I bought ours from Expedia.com.au but you can get them from Aussie Travel agents (flight centre, etc).

Just found your PTR... Just finished reading it.. your trip sounds amazing!! I wanted to let you know about your NYC part of the trip. I live in NYC and shop at Woodbury often.. that said Black Friday is very crowded!! There are lines to get into every store! You will get good buys but it is almost miserable to shop that day. Hope that helps a little. While you are in Cali you should go to Hollywood, Burbank and take the tours they are amazing. Also while in WDW take your BF on the Around the World at Epcot segway tour... AMAZING tour!!

Have an amazing time and be really careful in Mexico not a safe place anymore!!

Good decision!! Also Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade... LOTS of fun! I did this 2 years ago. I had a great spot around Columbus Circle. I arrived at my spot at 5:30 am and by 10 it was 5 rows of people deep. Just figure out the route and where you want to stand and PRAY it isn't cold. It really is a fun time! After the parade we made our way to the village and had an early dinner at a place called the little owl... mmm mmm good!

Have a great trip and think about the Segway tour at Epcot.. another good one is the Keys to the Kingdom Tour... you'll learn so much about Walt Disney and Disney World and see lots of stuff you don't get to see otherwise!

My trip is in 20 days and I can't wait!! DD and I will be going for 11 days 10 nights!! Staying the first 2 nights at BLT (we own DVC together) and then on to 6 nights 7 days of the Platinum plan!!! And to wind down we will stay at our home resort AKL for the last 2 nights!! Nothing beats a GREAT Disney trip!!!

OK so update for the last week.

I have been getting everything organised for my holiday I am one of these people that is an over planner so everything has to be right. I have been having mini panic attacks about everything i need to get done and what if i haven't organised everything, things to do while we are away etc etc.

Have been having some tests (lady Issues) etc etc. All the fun stuff to get out of the way before you leave the country for 9 weeks.

Anyways I quit my Job Yes you heard it I quit! Last Tuesday to be exact!
I got a visit from the area managers secretary about my sick leave well my manager knew that I have had alot going on but he didnt stand up for me. So I sit there while she yells at me about having time off. I burst into tears and yell at her You have no idea what I am going through. (I just found out that I may have some alot of troubles having Children but that's another story), and she proceeds to say to me I understand well at this point I was over her she isn't a very nice person at the best of times and I just want in the mood for her so I told her in a not so politely way that she has 2 children and has no idea what I am going though. This is where my manager really p*****d me off excuse the french. He sat there and said we are here to support you and understand what your going through. Well he has no idea either because his wife is due this Saturday. After all of this I walked out of the office very upset and they told me they wanted me to sign a letter saying they can speak to my doctor. I said NO to this. What a breach of Privacy. I have given them a certificate for everyday I have had off even when I dont have lunch and leave 45 mins early I get a certificate.

So I rang my good friend who is a manager of another branch and had a chat to her. Sent a text and called Ricky and said I want to quit and his words made me so happy He said what ever will make you Happier and less Stress. So I went out the back printed my letter of resignation and handed it to them then and there. After 8 years you thought they would have tried to stop me but no!
So I will be trying to find a job when i get back.

On the plus side I will have no stress when I get back and my mum will be coming over for a couple of days and I will get to spend it with her!

So That's the Story Of me Quitting lol.

I have had a bit of a hard time with them. Its one of those places that if your not sucking up to the right person it doesnt matter how good you are at your job they dont care and wont promote you!

Aw Lauren. I'm sorry you're having lady issues and that it may be difficult for you to conceive. No one wanting kids should ever hear things like that or even go through the stress of it all.

Congratulations on quitting your job...especially when it seems like you're in an environment that doesn't show any compassion or real sympathy to an employee that's going through tough times.

I wish only the best for you and hope that you have a great holiday.

Here's to a much better workplace when you return.

If your workplace is going to have that attitude then you are better off not there. I was having issues at work before my trip so I finally bit the bullet and quit a week before I left. It was a huge stress relief. Good on you! you are free to only think about your trip now!,

Sorry about the problems with your health and that you have had the problems at your former workplace.

You have a wonderful trip ahead of you, you will come home relaxed and refreshed (or like me, needing a holiday to get over my holiday )
