Any one got any great ideas for 2 adults visiting WDW (in November)
for the first time without kids?

We’ve taken my 2 nephews 6 times prior -
and will again; but this trips just us.

Staying at AKL in the Concierge rooms
if that helps with the recommendations.

I travel alot without kids so here's some suggestions:

Dinner at the Cali Grill at the Contemporary

An evening at Jellyrolls on the Boardwalk - highly recommended!!! :woohoo:

An evening carriage ride at FW, POR or SSR

That's all I can think of right now, but I'm sure you'll get plenty more suggestions!!! Have fun!! :teeth:

Since you're staying there -- and even if you weren't! -- Jiko for a nice, quiet, romantic dinner. DH and I were there last week for the first time, and we will always book a dinner there from here on out!

Since my DD's are now grown, my DH and I love going to WDW alone!!! We do everything WE want to do!! Hit all the rides early and stroll around the parks taking it all in without rushing. We try different restaurants each time, and take in some shows. We've done Cirque, and KTTK tour, quiet restaurants and character meals with the Princesses!!! We enjoy every minute we are there. This time we upgraded to WL and plan on getting a massage one afternoon!!! That would be a fun activity for you to do!!!!

very good thread....need lots of advice/info also, we're two adults going to disney for the 1st time in 02/07 (lots of time to plan) staying at AKL.

would love to hear from the 40+ age group on shows, rides, romantic places to eat...

Act like a kid! There are no kids around to roll their eyes or say your embarrassing them!

Seriously though

Share a waffle bowl sundae on Main Street while waiting for Wishes! Relax in the Hot Tub. Do a Wishes or Illuminations cruise. I have done the wishes and its awesome! Sit on GF or Poly beach with a glass of *??* and enjoy the Fireworks together.
