2 ADRS for dinner?

Hello! I have 8 people in my party, all are in my MDE. One evening we are splitting up for dinner, 4 going to one restaurant and 4 going to another. My 180 days has not arrived yet but I was in the reservation system today looking around. I was practicing booking, and it is not letting me book 2 different reservations at the same time even though it is different names on each. Is there a way around this? If I call on the phone will they be able to override the system? I'm trying to work this out now so I'm not wasting time when my booking window opens.
No one else wants to open a MDE account, which would probably fix my problem.

Call to make the reservations. You can explain the situation. It'll be easier.

If you call they'll be able to do this. They've done this for me a handful of times. I opened up my own second MDE account with another email address just for this reason. Calling has always worked, but the second account is faster.

I have done split parties a number of times.
You just have to have different people as the "head" person on each.
Very easy

Yes call to do this. But if you have a tough reservation like bog or cinderellas table book one of your reservations online to hold your spot. Online opens 1 hr before phones and for those hard reservations an hour (or a minute) can make all the difference.

You just have to make an MDE account for another adult in your party (18+ to be reservation contact), you can then link all other members of your party make simultaneous reservations under each account.

This is exactly what I do. I use two MDE accounts, one in DD name and one in mine. I generally make all the ADR's for my family so having access to two accounts makes it possible to make those ADR's when we split up for dinner. I use mine for all the meals we have together, and DD's for whoever is splitting off.
