$2.99 Breakfast Buffet??

I was hoping somebody out there could help me- I was reading somewhere about a $2.99 breakast buffet- does anybody know where this place is?? Thanks!

You might be thinking of Sizzler (I think that was the price when we ate there for breakfast in August).

That doesn't include a drink, just so you know.

It was "okay". Nothing fabulous. But for $2.99, I guess what you can expect, right?

We went to Sizzler on Apoka Vineland once for breakfast. Only once. We are not a difficult to please family so when I say it was disgusting, it had to be pretty bad.

No matter how cheap bad food is, it's still bad food.

Ponderosa has a $3.99 breakfast buffet,drink not included,Golden Corral is in the $6-$7 range with drink.These are the two main buffet places in the area with plenty of locations in the area,if you pick up a guide map you can also find others,I want to try a new one that recently opened up on International Drive called Wood Grill buffet that some people on another thread said is pretty good.

Sweet tomatoes is good for lunch or dinner ,it's located at the crossroads on Apopka Vineland by the Hotel Plaza blvd Disney entrance.Golden Corral is located south of I-4 on Apopka Vineland by Bahama Breeze,turn right at the Hotel Plaza blvd Disney entrance and after you go under I-4 turn left at Vineland ave.There are other Golden Corral locations on 192 in Kissimmee and in the International dr area,there's also a Sweet Tomatoes on International dr and Kirkman rd by Universal.

The Ponderosa buffet is also decent.

Cheesecake Factory is at the Mall at Millenia,take I-4 to Conroy rd. just north of the Universal and turnpike exits,about 20+ minutes from Disney.

Purdue food must have spoiled me. The buffets there are anything but!

I'd put the sizzler on par with Purdue's buffet I've had many a meal there myself, and it's quite similar to the buffet at my university.

Filling, adequately prepared, actually has taste and flavor, not dried out, etc.

Sweet Tomatoes is amazing. Ponderosa..meh. Can be good, can be bad. Depends on when you go. Golden Corral is alright. Great choice, especially for dinner.

like Perkins - it is close and fairly cheap - not a buffett

mentioned it because of the places mentions are now $5.99 for breakfast - it is definitely cheaper than that - okay for some of its breakfast

My family enjoys Golden Corral for Breakfast and Dinner. It's a typical buffet. But for the price and selection I think its a good place to feed a family on a budget. Decent steak, practically cooked to order because of the volume of people. Also, it is so busy that nothing hardly has time to sit untouched. So to me the food always apprears freshly prepared. The dessert bar is not impressive to me, but I am not a dessert eater. I have never been disappointed with food quality or selection for the price. I always pick up the coupon booklets around Orlando everywhere we go. There is usually a 10% off your total bill for dinner meals. There is also breakfast coupons for $5.99, but sometimes they are hard to find. I like the one in Lake Buena Vista best. Then the one in Orlando off Sand Lake Road, and the one in Kissimmee across from Celebration.
