We are having a meet and greet (MAG) in Studio Sea at 3:00 P.M.
on boarding day if you are interested.

Thanks for the offer but I think I have someone lined up to get us Diet Pepsi (12 pack) and Dr Pepper (6 pack), right Chrissy? It's been so long since we talked about it! ;)

Safe trip to you, also! I just hope and pray the weather lets us get out of here!

Bon voyage, Patty!!!

Yep Gary, still planning on bringing the drinks. We'll probably end up at the Radisson around 4 or 5 in the afternoon on the 7th and we're making a run that evening for "essentials" Hee Hee.

Hi to the Tyler clan! Have a safe trip Patty! I sure hope everybody's weather holds. Lots of prayers and pixie dust!!

Hey Patty..hopefully you'll be *wearing these sunglasses* and enjoying the sunshine. Please chase the shivers away down there and turn up the HEAT for us! Safe journey to you and yours. Hope to see you at the MAG!!
Howdy Tylers3 to the crazy castaway group!

I just threw all of my casual clothes into the dryer to freshen and soften up with a softener sheet. I too have lots to iron Chrissy. I got a few tips from these boards to use dry cleaner bags. One on the actual hanger and one over the garment to cut down on wrinkles.Just a note, the laundry rooms on board are very handy when in a pinch, but you have to plan ahead of the "getting ready for dinner" rush. There is only one iron and board per laundry room. There are a couple of washers and dryers. I brought a travel steamer with us last trip and it did NOT work!!! Bummer.
I only have 4 days of actual work left before I can put on my vacation face! YEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAA!!

:Pinkbounc  :Pinkbounc  :Pinkbounc  :Pinkbounc

SINGLE DIGITS ON THE COUNTERS, PEOPLE!!!

I'm not too excited!

Thanks for the confirmation, Chrissy! I owe you a couple of boat drinks!

How many of us will be at WDW the night before? Gail and I are staying at the Beach Club (BC). Does anybody want to meet somewhere on the Boardwalk for dinner or whatever ;) ? We will be landing at 3:15 P.M. on Friday, Feb. 7th. (It sounds so close!)
:teeth: Let us know! Free admission to the Boardwalk!

The Magic as she left St. Thomas today!

Well it's down to four more sleeps for us... I've been planning for months and have had all my clothes ready to go, papers, etc., for a long time, and now I feel panicked like I am forgetting something. DH reminded me that we are in Florida for a few days before and they have plenty of stores in case we forget something. Do any of you ever feel that way when it's getting down to the wire?
Gary I was thinking about you and your Pepsi. Are you strictly a diet pepsi drinker? Just wondering because at Old Town you can get these really cool small bottles of pepsi for 25 cents each. They are the perfect size for me. I don't think they have diet pepsi though....
Our DD is getting REALLY excited for the cruise especially... she's been doing lots of extra homework ahead of time so she shouldn't have to take any with her. Her teacher's been really good about that...
In case I don't check in again before we leave, I hope to see you all at the MAG on the 8th. Safe travels everyone, and I'm looking forward to meeting all of you!!!

HI everyone.....
Annie,
I just wanted to say, in case another opportunity doesn't come between now and your leaving, to have a safe journey to THE WORLD!! As I recall, many months ago, you were the first to make contact with me about this long anticipated cruise! How time flies huh? I really look forward to meeting everyone at the MAG!!! Happy trail to you and your family. SEE YA REAL SOON!!!!
Gary,
I have the same concerns about flying out of here. Hopefully we are in a thaw week. We are supposedly going to hit maybe 40 this w/e! Yee haa. As for dinner the 7th. I just don't know what to do. We are having a reunion lunch DT and I'm afraid Joe will be worn out by then. I wanted to make PS at Artist Point, but I think we are just going to wing it and see how things go. I love the Boardwalk....my home, sweet home resort. Make sure you go to Beaches and Cream for dessert and share a KITCHEN SINK for Wayne and I!!
PALEEZE...let everyone be healthy between now and Feb. 15. This has been a long, hard winter for everyone.

Annie, I stick to Diet Pepsi. At my age, mister gravity doesn't need any help so I have to watch the calories, at least until I board the Magic!!! Then all bets are off!!!!:D Thanks for the heads up, though.

Laura, why stay at BC is you're not going to Beaches and Cream? I just might have a Kitchen Sink for supper! I'M ON VACATION!!! This week-end the pre-vacation panic (PVP) will start. All the luggage comes out!:)

Annie, I always have that feeling before a big trip. I guess its because 99.9% of the planning and everything falls on me. Hubby just kinda goes with the flow. Don't sweat the small stuff is his motto :) Hope you have a safe trip and we're looking forward to seeing you on board!

Okay, I've begun serious cleaning/laundry/ironing mode. I always do this before I go on vacation. I feel the need to deep clean the house from top to bottom. I still have to hunt up all our casual summer clothes and the car has to go in for an oil change/tune up. My planning list has been printed and I'm starting to check things off! Woo hoo!

Have a safe journey guys! Its time for us to set off for USA....... we will be joining ship on Saturday 1st, so will have already had time to relax before you all get on board!(We are on for 2 weeks!) Will make sure we vaccuum and dust, before you embark! Looking forward to seeing you all. If we dont get to the meet, then PLEASE look out for us..........probably wont be too many Brits on board. Hubby will be celebrating 50th birthday on 8th, so listen out for singing and cake in dining room that eve!!! Daughter is a server on board, so if you see Gemma from England.............. be kind! Happy cruising........ see you in 8 days. Nat

A sprinkle of Pixie dust to you Nat for a safe journey to the good ol' USA!! and the happiest place on the planet. Hope you make it to our MAG!!
:p CHRISSY...I share the same dilemma with you in re: *I DO ALL THE PLANNING AND PACKING*. I smartened up this time and planned Waynes vaca to START two days prior to mine. He makes a great Merry Maid.....I know the house will be tidied up and clean for sure before we go. He has no idea I had an ulterior motive.;) I just can't possibley do it all...dear.
GARY...what's the weather forecast for your area this week? We are on a heatwave roll....54 by Wed. Oh please just keep it there through Friday!!! Char and Joe have to drive down from Albany to NJ. We are hoping their weather cooperates also...NO SNOW OR ICE.
*I want to be where the sun warms the sky....*

I must say my wife does the packing although I did start setting out the clothes I want to take last night. Shirts, shorts, slacks and t-shirts are ready to go! We looked over some free stuff we got off the Passporter.com web site on Disney Cruises and got some packing tips. We will be cleaning the house on Monday to make it presentable for the cat sitter.;)

Has anyone checked out the Menus on the DCL web site???
OH MY GOD!!! Looking good!:p I had better take some stretch pants for later in the week!

So far so good with the weather forcast, Laura. We're supposed to be in the mid 30's - low 40's for the next few days then could again for the end of next week. No big snow in the forcast, though!!!:)

ummm do they make stretch pants for guys????? ooooo maybe there spandex and shimmery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:p

In our house the after dinner attire of choice are our "fat suits" :) Nothing like a good meal and retiring into the comfort of sweats. We're going to need them after eating those yummy meals!! Thank goodness none of my clothes are too tight! I planned ahead to leave extra breathing room :teeth:

Our hearts and prayers go out to the families, friends and co-workers of the crew of the good ship Columbia.

So sad, another American tragedy to take our breath away. As a united Nation, we all feel the pain. What a bittersweet week for us all.
Gary, I checked out the PHOTO's of Palo's brunch. YUMMMYYY. Keep in mind, if there is something you don't see on the dinner menu that you really want...just ask. OR better yet, if you want more than one item on the menu, just ask. The servers will accomodate you. Our last night of dining, our table shared samples of every dessert on the list. What fun we had. And we *whaddled* our way to the Promenade Lounge for after dinner imbibing!
OKKKKK...I am off to the laundry room to start ironing! I can't wait to actually be packed instead of PILED!
p.s...I actually cut one pair of shoes off the pile.!so proud of myself.
;)

What a terrible tragedy on Saturday. I agree Laura, it is a bittersweet week. God speed to the crew of the Columbia.

We'll be there! DH, 2 kids (6 and 2) and I are ready for a break from the PA winter!!! :bounce:

Did you read about our meet and greet at Studio Sea?
We're going to try to get together at 3:00 P.M., before the lifeboat drill.

By the way, I just checked the cruise ship schedule for St. Thomas. There will be 4 other cruise ships with us there. Downtown will be crowded.
