I found what I was looking for with the stateroom decorations. I thought it would be a nice surprise for her (Shh...don't tell her I told you but she'll be celebrating her 50th!) Talk about a great birthday present!

Annie, did you ever find anything for your hubby for Valentine's Day? I'm debating about trying to sneak a surprise gift into the luggage, but have no idea what to get!!

Laura - how nice to keep in touch with people like that! Being a military family we have friends scattered everywhere around the globe and its so nice to be able to get together and talk about the "glory days".

I'm listening to the Lilo & Stitch soundtrack right now trying to think warm thoughts - it's supposed to get down to 19 here tonight. Brr!

Just wanted to add a funny story from watching last night's news. Okay, when we get down in the teens here temperature wise it's a big deal. They go crazy on the news telling us how to stay safe in the cold, etc. etc. Well, they said it was possible that we could see some "flurries". Then they preceded to go on and say that flurries do not cause traffic problems, it won't stick or accumulate so there was no cause for alarm. ROTFLMBO! I couldn't help but think of you guys up north covered in the white stuff.

Wayne and I lived Upstate NY in mid-snow country. We laugh everytime a *STORM* is predicted here in NJ.....everyone runs to the grocery store to buy up the milk, bread, eggs and vidoes! It just becomes THE topic of the newscasters here so the weather really gets hyped. Only once did our area become closed down...back in '94 or '96...terrible ice storm. We couldn't get around for a week.
AHHHH.... yes- it was a cool 1 degree this a.m. Thank goodness for heated car seats!!

Hi all, I've been checking 10 day forecasts-the weather in Orlando improves next week and then has a down turn around the 27-28th. The highs are in the mid to upper 60's. In St. Thomas the weather is in the mid 70's. I don't know how accurate the 10 day forecasts are. I know here in OR. 10 days is too far ahead for them to predict accurately. I have a question-how do you find out what your dining room rotation is? from a TA or from the cruise line? I'm getting so excited we're leaving in a week and 1/2! I'm feeling somewhat guilty about our weather-no rain, no snow just sunshine. But no snow on the mountains either. It's been an exceptionally dry fall and winter and now they're talking drought-can you imagine that-in Oregon.
Was there a definite decision on a meeting place on board the 1st day? Please let me know. Patty

Patty - We won't find out our dining room rotation until we check it at the port. I think it's printed on our KTTW card. I'm chomping at the bit to find out here! Hee hee

Gary, you're so funny I can just hear the Pyscho music playing when I look at that picture...


We're supposed to warm up here for the rest of this week so let's hope it does the same at the port and stays that way!

American Idol's Simon would have a field day if he heard me karaoke!

We could use the initial meet on Saturday as a planning session for brunch. That way we may have a more definite headcount as to who is interested....so much planning, so many decisions...I can't believe it's almost here now!

I would love to leave a suitcase out and start putting stuff in that I won't use between now and when we leave, but the cats would think it's a lovely bed and everything would be covered in fur. They go crazy when we get the luggage out. Funny how they know something's up.

Chrissy, our boys (cats) do the same thing. As soon as we get the luggage out, they're in it, like they're saying "take me with you!!" I think we have pictures of them doing that.

It has been wet, windy, and cold here in Seattle so we are looking forward to some sun. The meeting ideas sound great.

I am second guessing everything I have pulled from the closet!!!! HEEEELLLPPPPP. Thank goodness for online shopping. I don't think the hubby will appreciate it, but it's vacation!!! A girls just gotta have fun!

Hey Michael, good to meet you. Finally another west coastie out there! It's taken me a while to get back on line-something about 2 little ones that keeps ya busy. Andi-lol all I can say is 'ouch'. Can't wait to meet you all. I'll be at the meet and greet at Studio Sea-assuming all our ressies have been made. Thanks for the rotation info. Not sure how much it matters except for the kids b-days. I actually tried on a nautical outfit for the trip but it didn't work Maybe I need to skip nautical and just go with the Disney theme I told my hubby his suitcase must be basically empty so I can pack all the stuff we buy at Disney world in it.
