We are thinking of going to Disneyland around the holidays. We were able to get some unexpected $$ so may be able to go this year..Is it worth going for 2 or 3 days? We always go for at least 5.. Is it worth a 7 hour drive for that short of period? How do I plan my days to include everything for a family of 4?

Thanks!!

We drive 6 hours, and we think 3 days is enough. There's only three of us, but two days in the parks (utilizing touring plans and early entry) works for us.

we can only do 2 days in the park this trip but I think its better than none! I have been known to make it to DL from Vegas is 3 and 1/2 hours :thumbsup2

We drive six hour for three full days in the park. We are also going during thanksgiving. We like to have a day to drive in, play in DTD on arrival, sleep in a little on our last day before heading home, three days in the middle for the parks.

Yes, it's worth it! You never know what will happen a year from now. Schedules and finances in our everyday lives change. Kids grow up too. Take it now while you can.

Instead of long stays, our family of 4 really enjoy our 2-3 day visits twice a year. Like you we are 7 hours away in NorCal. We like it better this way because there isn't such a huge gap between vacations.

For the holidays, especially, I'd say 2-3 days is worth it. Even if it were not the holidays I would think 2-3 days would be worth it, but the holidays cannot be missed!! It's way too magical and colorful and wonderful to miss out on.

Our drive takes us 7 hours. The shortest we will stay is 3 nights which gives us 2 full days and 2 partial days, although we always leave by noon, so that's a pretty short 2nd partial day. We have really, really enjoyed those trips. I'd rather get my Disney fix frequently rather than with a once-a-year week-long trip although I'm hoping for one of those too in the next year. And we do feel fortunate that we have opportunity for repeated visits, especially since so many plan and plan and only ever get to go once a year or every 5 years or ever!

I think it it totally worth it! While I have enjoyed our longer trips, we have done some rides that we wouldn't need to do again if we were on a shorter trip. In fact this November we are going for just under two days, we will just hit our favorites this time. I think any time at the parks is better then none!!

We've taken one 4 day trip and two 3 day trips and I think its totally worth it! Ours is a 7 hour drive as well.

thanks everyone!!
I think we will go for it!
