Always seemed strange that they sent out the physical tickets and parking passes by mail instead of just verifying that the DVC blue card in your wallet has the MM event attached and then give out the wristbands/vouchers.

Just received the updated email with tickets attached. Was still not able to add them to the Disneyland App but will try again later today.

reporting in to say that the QR code does work for the 2nd set of tickets and look like 1 day 1 park tickets once loaded

Mine didn't initially scan but did shortly afterwards Did accidently assign 2 of the tickets to my name in the App and says it can't be changed so hopefully it doesn't cause problems at the gate.

Yeah I didn’t love this part of it at all. WDW MM they just scanned me and checked my party count.
