In terms of the Meet & Greet... I figure since it is the 1st, it will probably last maybe 1/2 an hour giving us long enough to get back to our room for life jackets! We can just figure out when and where we'll meet up again... esp. for drinks!!

Nah...I don't like being in charge of stuff...I just figured I could fill in the missing names from my list. I think the list at the top of page 4 is easier to find. Can you still handle it Suzanne--pretty please?

Sorry I've been MIA...work keeps getting in the way! Welcome Wuggy, congrats DMrick on your grandbaby. My DD8 is Alyssa and I do still want to participate. Actually, our door hanger is done (with the help of a "crafty" friend), and I was out today looking for ideas for gifts. A friend told me that some people give gifts that reflect where they are from. Is this what most do or does it vary? Also, just to clarify, from what I've read, there are no allergies - does that includes food allergies?? 23 days and counting!!!

I am procrastinating housework and so thought I'd also post what I've culled from the thread--I think I have a couple additional kid names not included yet on the page 4 list. I may have a friend joining the FE at the end of the day today--she's still deciding .

To be fair, Suzanne (tigger2on) put most of this together and is updating it on page 4 of this thread. I just cut and paste what she had done to put them in order of deck, and filled in a couple of missing names I had found. She did the majority of the work

ok this is a total newbie question, having never been on a DCL boat, but looking at the Deck 7 floor plan, I don't see where it is that we are meeting ...is it clearly marked on the boat? Or do we just keep walking toward the back til we reach the end of the boat? I'm guessing this is why it's a 'secret deck', but don't want it to be so secret that we can't find it!

You are absolutely correct. My apologies, and many thanks to Suzanne (tigger2on) for her time and effort in tracking and coordinating the FE efforts. I do have a favor to ask. I know I said I could give out my FE gifts anyday, but I would like to do it the day we embark if that's possible. Most likely, I will be including something the kids may enjoy in Castaway Cay so would ike everyone to get their gifts before that.

The list will be final as of 6pm tomorrow night.
There are 2 lists.... one easily found at the top of page 4... but MsNoble has made another that is easy for FE distribution... maybe she can PM it too all participating so they can print it off for the cruise.

I have sent a PM to everyone with the list I put together, and I included Doris (DMRick) since I believe she is also thinking about distributing some things for the kids. If you don't get the PM for some reason let me know.

I know there was a question about having a contact person in case room numbers change; I can be this person, but is it possible to call other staterooms on the boat? If so, maybe the folks who change rooms can just leave a phone msg for the rest of us as to what their new room numbers are?

I'm planning to have a white board on my door and folks could leave msgs there...but I've read elsewhere on the boards that the occasional unsupervised teenager has been known to tamper with the whiteboards...I'm not sure how reliable that or post-its would be. I'll keep my fingers crossed that everyone will be settled by the meet & greet so there won't be any worries!

Hi,
I know the cutoff was about an hour ago, but am wondering if it would be ok for my friend and her daughter to join the exchange. We had a miscommunication (she thought I was signing her up, I thought she was signing herself up ), and she just got back from being out of town over the weekend.

It would just be her and her daughter, age 11. Would that be ok with everyone??
