Hi - back on these boards after a FIVE year absence since my last trip in August 2000. :cool1: :cool1: (what happened to my old userid and post count   )

Going back in July (2-16) and five years on the kids are now 12 and 13 so will be doing more Universal than WDW, but still want to have a couple of days at Disney + both water parks.

It seems to be very hard to buy tickets online for "as little as" 2+2. :sad2: :sad2:

Gate prices from Disney are $164 + tax (approx $175 / £99) - Does anybody know where this could be cheaper? :confused3 :confused3

I've also looked on ebay for part used tickets, but with the new system of fingerprinting preventing sell-on, the old tickets are getting rarer and the price going up accordingly.

There was a 2+1 on there the other day that sold for £93!! (just £6 less than buying a brand new 2+2 from Disney main gate would cost!!)

So looking for ideas here! Plus also presume it would be better to buy the 2+2 tickets online prior to going (to save time at the parks?)

Incidentally, found the Universal Two day + five day free is available at http://www.best4attractions.co.uk/ for an amazing £49 ... just £7 per day (if you were to use all seven days ... we will probably use 3!) :earboy2: :earboy2:

Oh - will also be ordering Simon's book in the next week ... took it in 2000 and it was INVALUABLE - presume can;t get away with using one five years out of date now though :guilty: :guilty:

Try orlandoticketdeals.co.uk, we used them last year and they were great.
Also cheapticketdeals.com have been mentioned on these boards recently, along with a reminder to check if any credit card charges or delivery costs.

Hey - thanks for the response :)

Unfortunately orlandoticketdeals.co.uk (like most sites I've visited so far) does not go less than a 5-day premium ticket.

cheapticketdeals.com now links into a placeholder page so presumably the website has closed.

Thanks anyway

hi, we had a great price and great service from www.ticketmania.com they had free international shipping a few weeeks ago, they arrived within a week and were actual tickets not vouchers, we bought the 7 day, not sure what the smallest ones they sell are but they are worth a look :sunny:

Thanks .. they do a 3+2 for $227 ... which is $52 extra for the third park day (but only a $3 saving on gate price)

Check out attractionticketsdirect.co.uk. Still not sure you will find tickets of the duration you're after. All the best.

Carl

It looks like you WILL have to go through a US based ticket seller. All the ones mentioned above that are based in the UK seem to only be selling the Premium 5 and 7 day passes (i.e. with park hopping and plusses) or 14 or 21 days Ultimate passes - I think this is because these are the only tickets Disney themselves officially sell on the UK market.

We went with Ticketmania because although we wanted a 7 dayer, we didn't want hopping or plusses (why pay for a feature we're not going to use?) and can recommend them as being cheap and quick delivery.
