2~2~12* Dream a Little Dream With Us!

Even though I'm 16 I know how you feel! One cruise we had a kid who enjoyed throwing food across the table and the parents only laughed :scared1: needless to say, we requested a new table lol.

oh wow--talking about vomiting at dinner would send me over the edge! Lol!

Since I booked through DU, I would have to have them make the request for me, or can I contact DCL myself?

BeeTeacher - I always book directly with DCL, but I believe DU can note the request on your reservation if you contact your TA there. Keep in mind that it is just a REQUEST, not a guaranty. In the rare instance that you'd have a problem with tablemates, you can request a change while aboard.

BTW, fellow Meet Thread participants....

We have now dropped down to the 40's in terms of days until we sail. Today is 49 days away! :woohoo:

And Holly and I are doing the happy dance, as we have switched to a Cat. T suite now. You only live once . . or maybe twice . . right? :cool1: :yay:

Since it's a short cruise and Holly and I want to enjoy our Cat. T and verandah and explore the ship, we are canceling our Cabana #5 (Family Beach).

In case anyone is interested in grabbing it, I'll be doing that in the next 60 seconds! ;)

BTW, if anyone is interested, as of a few minutes ago, Cabana #5 is still available!

And just in case anyone is counting....48 days left!

Got my "welcome aboard" papers today!

My 12 year old Madison is my worrier. She is starting to get really freaked out about us sailing. She gets anxious when we leave town for a regular weekend, but when we showed the kids on the map where we were going, and then later explained that we could not call, she got really upset. Poor thing!

Hoping there is free wiFi somewhere in nassau. Then I can post a message on her facebook so she will know I didn't fall off the boat!

Hi All!
Our family is booked for our first DCL for 2/2/12 and we can hardly wait! I've been soaking up all the info on these forums as I can so I can be prepared. Quick question tho...My boys are 14 and 11. I know my 14yo is old enough for the teen club, but can he still go to the tween club with his brother?? I'm not sure they would like being separated. My 14yo could probably pass as a 13yo, lol, but I don't know how they enforce the age thing... :confused3

Welcome MoJoMom! :welcome:

Hopefully someone can come on and answer your question about the kid's clubs.

Happy Holidays everyone! :santa:

Mojomom30~ From what I have heard, as long as it is OK with the CM your boys can stay together. You just have to ask the CM when they check in.

I have not seen this asked--but do the ship clocks change to "local" time or do they stay on Eastern time?

I've seen people discussing late dining like it is horribly late, but it doesn't seem so if times are an hour earlier, it would be not that much later than normal dinner time for us.

I am hoping to receive our papers soon. I thought I saw somewhere on this thread someone having received theirs already...How soon should I expect to receive them?? :rolleyes1

Yes, my cruise docs arrived yesterday, on Christmas Eve! :goodvibes

They don't send them all out at the same time, but you should be receiving yours soon!

Even though I am sailing with Taswira in the same Cat T, I haven't received mine yet. So I guess they do send them out at different times.

Happy Holidays everyone!

Frank and Ashley are on board. Celebrating our anniversary. Married on the wonder by Capt Hemry in 2009. Find us at the bar.

F&A - Welcome aboard! :)

Captain Henry is cool.:cool1:

I'm thinking/hoping he will be our Captain on this cruise.

Welcome aboard F&A!

Ha ha - don't you love the photo Taswira has of him yawning? :lmao:

See you soon! (I can't wait to see Pink)

That's what we figured and one of the reasons we booked it. Thought it would be cool to get an anniversary pic

We plan on staying on the ship at Nassau. Probably not going to Remy or Paolo to check out all the rotational restaurants. This will be our 4th cruise. We got married on a Bahamas cruise, did the Eastern Carribean, Mexican Riveria and Alska - all DCL.

We are in Aulani right now. They have borrowed a lot from DCL here including personal navigators daily.

F&A - Welcome aboard! :)

Captain Henry is cool.:cool1:

I'm thinking/hoping he will be our Captain on this cruise.
