Well, my FE's haven't magically finished themselves.:confused3 Maybe tomorrow... I won't let myself start packing 'til they are done!

LOL! Mine either! What gives? I'm using the navigators as my motivation but with two cheer performances and my dad coming into town to help my (sick) DH put up the girls' swing set, I'm doubtful they'll be done this weekend. *sigh* I'm still having fun making them, though, so that helps! Of course, my husband will be happy when they're done because he's noticed that every time I go to Walmart, I end up getting "just one more thing" to add! Oops! Busted. ;)

I too had hoped to finish my FE gifts yesterday, but a power outage on Wednesday didn't help me any. Today, I was to go zip lining, but the company cancelled on me. I am just sure that is a sign that I am to get my FE gifts done today. :) Then, just organize them and pack them up.

I do have suitcases out for the boys and I now. As I come across something that I know is going, I just toss it in. That way I have a head start when I do go to pack. I am no where near as organized as those that have the cruise box, but love that idea so much that when I come home some items will go right into one for my next cruise. :cool1:

Two Weeks!!! FEs are not done, packing is not done, work that must be finished before we leave is not done. The diet went out the window. Its going to be a busy next 12 days. We fly out on the 14th. So far, I have managed to keep it a surprise from my son.

TWO WEEKS FROM TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cool1: :woohoo: :hyper:

Two weeks from right now... I'll be finishing my coffee and my son will be loading the car. Then I'll try and force myself to not leave until around 9:30 so we don't get to the parking place any earlier than 10. And then two weeks and 3 hours from now, we should be sitting outside having lunch, enjoying the fact that we're not on dry land anymore!! :cloud9:

Beth ~ I had to laugh at your assessment of cruise-box people as organized... I can only speak for myself, but it's because I'm *not* organized that I have the cruise box! LOL If I didn't, I would never find anything. I was looking for a pair of shoes in my closet a few days ago, and found the very cool DCL watch that was supposed to be a Christmas present for my son!!! Guess what he's getting for his birthday on the cruise? :rolleyes1

Plus, I don't have a spare room for suitcases -- I have to haul them out, pack what I can, then close them back up again and run into them in my bedroom for two weeks, lol.

Okay... two weeks and a few hours... Where will you be, what will you be doing? Go!

We're planning on leaving my mom's house in Klein around 8am which means that at this very moment in time + two weeks we will hopefully be pulling into the parking lot (maybe we'll be on the same bus as you! :thumbsup2). Then it's check-in time at 11 and straight up to lunch and into the pool for some swimming (if it's not too cold) before the 2pm meet. Aaaaahhhhhhh....relaxing just thinking about it. :beach:

DH thinks I'm crazy for wanting to meet with a bunch of strangers so he'll probably skip the meet and head to the room to start unpacking which works for me b/c that's less for me to do! :cool1:

I'm definitely interested in this spa raffle thing too. Does anyone know if I can bring my girls or do I have to drop them off with DH before I head up there?

Katie, you can't bring your kids to the spa raffle. I've tried. ;) Luckily my dd11 is now old enough that I can leave her by the pool for a short time while I get things done. I never made it back up to the spa for the raffle before. Maybe I can get there this time! :thumbsup2

Gina, you are too funny!

Two weeks from right now I will be loading up the car and heading to dd's school to sign her out. (don't tell the school!) ;) Then we'll make the 1-1/2 hour drive down to Galveston, and hopefully be on the ship by 1 pm. Then its Guest Services (Tea), Palo (brunch), drop our carry-ons in the cabin and head to the meet. Maybe I can grab some lunch somewhere in there. :) Depending upon the weather, dd will be in the pool or eating lunch. She prefers to watch me run around rather than join in. :lmao:

:beach:

Totally didn't jump on the picture posting bandwagon a few nights ago so here's our family. I will have my hair in a ponytail, though, so that may help to spot me. It's the two little cuties with me who are most easy to spot! :cutie::cutie:

Thanks for the heads up! Looks like they'll be hanging with daddy for a bit! :)

Do we know if the raffle is definitely at 3? It was kind of unclear on the new Navigators... How early do those of you going think we should get to the spa for that?

I am so bored here at work today... It has been *crazy* all week, but our fiscal year ended last night, so now there is just nothing to do at the moment. I've gone over my pack list, made some notes in my Passporter, updated my shopping list -- I have no idea what else to do!! :surfweb:

I usually pop into the spa in the early afternoon and sign up for the raffle, and then ask what time I should come back for the raffle itself. Never made it back yet....:)

As for what else to do - dream about being on the ship!!:rotfl:

Oh, good idea!! Not the never-making-it-back part, but the asking-them-what-time-to-be-back part. :teeth:

I've done that so much already, they come into my office, take one look at me and the idiot grin on my face, and say "Well, she's gone..." LOL :rolleyes1

I can't believe its 2weeks till the big boat! Yay! I'm making mickey shoes for the family today! Oh and our pirate outfits! Wish me luck! Wish I had made it onto an fe group but I think it is best to wait till next time! I have so many crafts still to do just for our family! Ha!
And Gina I'm hoping to make the meet just depends on when we board and how things go! I know it has been mentioned but best places to park!

All three of our kids are running around in their pirate costumes this afternoon. We cannot possibly wait two more weeks!!!

I was looking at the Day 1 Navigator, page 2, in the timetable section, it says (Starts at 4:15 p.m), so I'm not sure if that is when the actual raffle is. The only problem is that the Mandatory Boat Drill starts at 3:45 p.m., so how is anyone supposed to get back in time for the raffle?:confused3

I would love to win this!:cool1:

Weird. I brought my daughter with me on the Fantasy last summer. We had just toured the spa, and it was almost time for the raffle, so we stayed. No one said anything. She was 9 at the time.

We were on the Dream a couple of weeks ago and stopped into the spa around 3:30 and were told the raffle had been done at 3:00pm. Not sure if it is the same on the Magic...

I have not touched my FE in a month. I just need to add some ribbon and do the binding. I'm pledging to do that today (Sat).

I have been hunting for a new suitcase. Last night, I just bought two new suitcases, so much for travelling light. I am amazed at the new spinners and lightweight cases. And the prices!

I told my principal about my trip and i think she was more excited about it than i was. My dd attends the same school. They have been working on brochures in class so her teacher says she can do a brochure of her trip. I love this idea! Vistaprint, here we come! I need to plan My lessons for the time I'm gone.

I threw most of our things in the case last weekend. Hmm, not sure whatshoes dd9 has except for her sneakers, no sandals or shoes to match her dress for formal night. I dont want to buy one though. I'm anxiously waiting for my ergo baby carrier to arrive and my swim shorts.

Finishing mine up tOday. Can someone share with me how long to make the ribbon that the FE hangs by off the fish? I've seen pocket sizes mentioned all over but no one ever says how to make the ribbon that you hang the FE by.

Thanks for the reminder! My dd has outgrown her dress shoes and wants a pair. Need to buy them!
