Is anyone else planning to go the first week of November? Also, if you have previously been at WDW during this time was it still warm enough to swim? :sunny:

We've gone the first week of November twice and are planning to go this Nov also. We've always gone swimming; it's been a little chilly swimming after we leave the parks (9 or 10 pm), but my girls don't mind.

We've been comfortable in shorts and t-shirts.

In '04 we went during the last week in November. We went to TL and enjoyed the pool every day. It was a little chilly early AM and late PM, but great during most of the day. My dd said, " Mom this is the coolest thing ever! It's 12/1 and we're swimming.....outside! :rotfl:

We have been a couple times the first week of Nov. You can definetely swim that week. Most of the time it has been very warm, but have had a couple days where a cold front went through and it was very, very chilly.

We're having our wedding at WDW on November 6, so we'll be there the same time as you. Like others have said... I think it'll mostly be fine to swim, especially during daylight hours... but you can always have a cold front come through and bring it down to the 60s (which is too swim for some of us)!

Do a search for the phrase "Jersey Week" and you'll find out all you need to know about WDW during the first week of November. (This is a week when the NJ public schools have 3 half days and are closed for 2 days and it seems that just about all of NJ (including myself) descends upon WDW.)

We have been twice the 1st week in November and once the 1st week in December.......went swimming every time! It was great. Of course, we fly in from northern Maine.....so the weather was wonderful and the pools are heated. Have a great time.

Jersey week is from Nov. 7 - 11 in '05 and we will be a willing participant along with about 40 of our family members.

We'll be there oct 39-nov 8. We went second week of nov last year and I swam several times. The pools are heated, and I am very cold natured. I usually bring a long sleeve T to wear back to the room.

I love November! :sunny:

Thanks for the encouraging info on November! We will be driving down from the Chicago area and it will be great to be able to swim outdoors that time of year. I plan to pack jeans and sweatshirts for everyone just in case though. These boards have been so helpful in my planning! :flower:

we normally go the second or third week in november and have always gone swimming during the day & the hot tub at night, we also grab a sweater for night. we're going again this year november 13-18 & can't wait! :goodvibes

We've always gone in Nov. The temps have ranged from mid 70's to 90. You just don't know. But it was always warm enough for shorts and never felt chilly to us even in the evenings. Of course, that time of year, the parks aren't open as late, but the parks aren't as crowded either so the waits aren't as long. We've always swam too.
