***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Good morning all...
I'm spending the weekend in the Catskills for two of my best friends wedding. We were all friends in highschool then we list the groom for 20 years. The two live birds were reunited about three years ago and are getting married today.

Their story is a a true fairytale.

Hope next week will bring good news for the Star Wars party and ROL!

Hey guys! So I had a question abut the dessert party again. We are a party of 6, but in the event that I can get 3 parties of 2, where exactly would we be needing or be assigned tables? Is it for eating desserts and watching fireworks? Are there tables for parade viewing? Or is that just a big area where the 6 of us could stand?
Also, do we even have to sit at a table? Or could we just stand together somewhere? Thank you!

It's my understanding that the tables are assigned. I don't know when or how they assign them. Is it based on when you booked? When you check in at TT before going to reserved parade viewing (if your talking about HOLIDAY dessert party), or when you arrive there after the parade? I would think that when you arrive at TT to check-in you could make the CM aware that you are 3 parties of 2 and they could accommodate you and seat you together. I've actually never been to TT, even for a regular meal so I don't know the configuration of, or the size tables they have.

If any of this is inaccurate please correct me.

This is super helpful I think and explains it much better than I could! lol ;) (From the "Know Before You Go" section) Pretty sure table assignments happen at the podium during the check-in from 4-7p. :)

ETA: I wonder though if they might assign tables ahead of time and you just get your assignment when you check in?

Great! Thank you both!!

@rasadkowski I need to call either today or tomorrow about something unrelated. I will ask when seating assignments happen. It could definitely make a difference on when we do check in, so I'm all curious about this now anyway. ;)

Thanks @Talby :) if you do, that's very helpful :) and not a problem if not! I'm looking for a party of 4 or 6 now that I really think of it...just in case they can't accommodate us together at all, at least with one 2 top you found my parents can get a break from us for an hour :)

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!! :-)

I have been so frustrated with one of our Epcot days. :furious: I just could NOT make it come together no matter how much rearranging I did. :badpc: We want lunch in Morocco/France and dinner in Japan and we have Dolphins in Depth shortly after a Garden Grill PPO in the morning. I couldn't make the pieces fit into a nicely-flowing day that didn't involve a lot of back-tracking. Enter the friendship boat! lol :boat: I guess I just had it in my head that we HAD to start in Mexico or Canada and go in order so as to not miss anything. :magnify: But there are no rules for where you start! Duh! So we're starting in Morocco via the friendship boat from Canada and finishing up that day in Japan. This one little thing was a game changer for our day, and I'm super happy with our plan now! Thought I'd pass it on in case it is helpful to anyone's touring plans! ;)

This is totally similar to what we're doing. I think I have WS divided into 3rds or 4ths and we'll take advantage of the friendship boats if the pathways are too clogged with people. I love it when a plan comes together! (bonus points if anyone can tell me who says that and in what show)

That's great news @Talby! You've been really excited to fit in all of these great sights at Epcot. I never would have thought of the friendship boats! And Morocco is an awesome place to start!

I wish it had occurred to me sooner, but better late than never. :) It is one of the BEST feelings when a plan falls in place!! ::yes:: Right up there with finally getting an elusive ADR!!

The friendship boat will be our (....wait for it....) FRIEND! :rotfl2: ( :duck:Oh that was so bad! lol) Just need to trim the live entertainment down. Move some things from "must do" to "these are options if it works out". Another area where there is just so much to choose from!! :-)

We have almost 2 days in Epcot and it's the ONE park I have pretty much set now. Plenty of procrastination over here too! ;) Maybe instead of procrastination, we could think of it as thoroughly considering our options?? Nope, haven't gotten to that yet because I'm "thoroughly considering my options." :thumbsup2

:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: I really like how you think! This goes hand in hand with open mindedness :thumbsup2 I'm thoroughly researching MK and Epcot then :rolleyes1

So packing for little ones... Does anyone pack in your little one's favorite toy that's huge? Mine has a Lucifer (yes the evil cat from Cinderella :lmao:) plushie that he can't sleep without  Going to take up room in our luggage for sure :faint: Anyone else has that one thing you dread to pack?

I have a real life Lucifer the cat. Luckily I don't have to deal with packing him. My husband still doesn't believe that we are taking the smaller Christmas tree. Denial.
