***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

@rasadkowski and you ended up eventually getting most of your adrs, so maybe people will drop stuff for us to pick up if we don't get all the fast passes we want. Fingers crossed it all works out.

so, does anyone know, are elsa and anna in the mvmcp parade? and Elsa is the only one that comes up to light the castle at 615 and 8ish ?

I saw a video of thie lighting on youtube, and it was Anna and Elsa and Kristof. Search for it, it's really cute! And from what I understand, it's every day at 6:15, not just on party nights! We plan on doing this on our arrival night before heading over to Chef Mickey's for dinner.

I know this won't really make anyone feel better, but, I'm sure there are lots of factors in her fp selection process..like how many people were in her party, which days she had open for Epcot. you know? was her last day her only epcot day and her only choice? Who knows...we'll just do the best we can your daughter's birthday will be so special regardless.

And yes 12/7! But, we have the ppo breakfast for akershus that day. I would really like to get a fp for later on, but since we are early morning people, being back in the hotel at 7ish, I am not too hopeful. I am hoping that the ppo will help us with this (unless they open the park early...)
My girls do not know there is a ride either!! It's mostly for me! lol I was Frozen obsessed. I'm a bit better now I think I'm Zootopia obsessed now
They don't know that there is a meet and greet for the sisters, but my 4 year old just keeps saying how she'll see them. So, that's something we really have to do too I am surprised there is no fp for that, and I wondering how long the wait will be to see them.
Id love to get an extra 7dmt for later in the trip, but we are doing emm, so hopefully they will just enjoy the time they get that morning. at least they'll try it.
I just have no idea how it will be getting the other rides.....

I'm thinking an issue I'm having right now is....
..if I can get fea for any other day, do I switch my park days around just for that fp? I wonder if any others are planning to do that....It just would be such a "project" to do since we're not park hopping...don't know if it's worth it....hmm

I didn't book my trip until late July, so I was well past the 180 day window and had to fight for every single ADR I have. I'm still owrking on one or two for better times, but I feel like I did pretty good.

And on the flip side, @rasadkowski stalking for FEA fastpasses will give us something to do when all our ADRs are final, LOL!

Very interesting about the princesses. I would love it if they added Elena of Avalor (we're watching it right now )I was thinking that it is very possible. I wanted to ask you guys....I wasn't actually planning to get a fp for the princess hall. we'll be seeing Cinderella at 1900 park fare/CRT. But, my girls would really love to see Rapunzel. My plan was to hit pfh right after our EMM rides. I'm not sure if you remember that link that someone shared(sorry! I can't remember who? @areno79 maybe it was you? ) but it was an awesome review of EMM. He rode a bunch of rides, and at rope drop hit the princesses and something else in fantasyland before grabbing breakfast right before the 10am deadline. Do you think this is still doable? I love having fp because it just kinda "guarantees" a minimal wait....but I hate to waste a fp on something that I'm sure we can get at rd. what do y'all think?

I really only care about meeting Rapunzel in PFH, so my plan is to be there before opening like this reviewer did. I've heard that Enchanted Tales with Belle is also very busy and something that queues up quickly in the morning.

I booked in July as well, so well past the 180 day window. I still have gotten just about everything I wanted; like you I would like some better times, but overall I'm happy with everything I got!

Oh no! I'm so sorry you didn't get FEA. Maybe checking back later today? My FEA panic is coming back. My FP day is Wednesday and Epcot is day 4 of my trip and my goal is later in the day so maybe just maybe. I'm glad everything else was super easy, that's good to hear.

I know this is somethingthat dd will enjoy. Unfortunately I think I will need to drop the star wars party if we do this. I was on the fence anyway since dh and I don't drink much.

It does make EMM sound really great. You know, my son is now tall enough for 7DMT and we could have done EMM (he's sick and we had to do an impromptu doctor trip where I asked them to measure him and he is finally 38 inches) but it doesn't happen in a day we are planning to be there early! We arrive on an EMM day but not until mid day and I can't justify moving everything at this point. Oh well, I wish I would have known about EMM and known he'd be tall enough. Next trip!

Still got it but not until 4:30 on a party day we are not attending so it'll be one of our last rides before we leave MK that day. Was hoping to get it right before or after our BOG lunch so I'll keep checking for an earlier time. I didn't have any trouble getting FEA on 12/4 and 12/5 (accidentally made it for the wrong day first in my half-asleep state). They had a bunch of times starting around 2 which is exactly when I wanted it.

FP day for me today as well. Glad everyone got most things they wanted. We did soarin not FEA bc my boys are anti-frozen and princesses. I'd still like to see how they redid Maelstrom, but I guess it will be unlikely this trip. @etzmn123 I'm in same situation with 7DMT - got it at 450pm on party night that we aren't doing party. At least we got it tho. I only did 2 FPs for my HS day and figure I'll make the 3rd for MK for my party night after I use the 1st 2. This is my first time going without hoppers and for this short a trip so it's definitely different trying to cram in FPs and ADRS within those parameters.

Hi Best Thread on Dis Peeps!

I'm coming up for air briefly. Crazy work situation the last week+ involving lots of training and GoToMeetings and stuff. I can't believe how work gets in the way of planning. The NERVE of these people blows my mind!

Congrats to all who have gotten their FP (or most of them)!! Another step closer!! My day is M-O-N-D-A-Y! and I was one of the way-past-180-mark-ADR makers, and that seems to have worked out well for everyone, so I'm going to stick to the mindset that it will end up all working itself out for FP too if the perfect scenario doesn't happen right out of the gate. GOOD LUCK to everyone who will be making them this week! Here's to getting exactly what you're wishing for!

@Iowamomof4 I wanted to congratulate you on finding your family's flow! Planning got fun again for me and I got even more excited about our trip overall when I found my family's flow. It's different for every family, and those differences are what make things uniquely magical I think.

I realize this is completely out of character ...but I've been rearranging and adding things, and it looks like we won't be doing the SW Dessert Party. I think we'll see the fireworks that night though, so we will stalk the 1st Week of December Thread gang.

@BDFmom and anyone else who may have a senior...I ordered these (Etsy) for my DD. My latest brainstorm is capturing some senior picture-type Disney Kodak Moments. Just wanted to share in case anyone might be interested. (not my DD's info, but obviously custom made including tassel color

Love these updates from you it highlights our open minded- ness! If you don't mind me asking, what happened with the dessert party plan? Honestly, I've thought about dropping the dessert party for SW and keeping the one for the Xmas party. (Because I wanted to insert an ADR instead of the dessert party) I haven't decided yet and thought I could wait longer since the party is not released yet anyway,
