***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

There is a 2-day cancellation policy FYI. ;) We are to meet at the Contemporary at 8:30. There is a designated area where the group will meet and interact with Captain Hook and Mr. Smee for snacks/treats. I wish I could remember what time the boat launches. But after the fireworks, Peter Pan will be on land to greet us. They recognize special celebrations in some way. :)

ETA: I will find out for sure about how long actual boat time is. I call every week for one reason or another it seems! haha I jot down questions and then when I get a handful, I call. I'll let you know!!
I just reread the review by Kenny the pirate and I might just do this on my last night... Considering it again! thanks @Talby :)

The last night feels so important!! :-)

For those who may have decided already, what does your last day look like? We'll be in MK and plan on rope dropping. We have a CP late breakfast and will be attending the first show at SOA. Our last ride has to be Space Mountain. Favorite snacks will be enjoyed. Of course Wishes and the inevitable crying!!

We have to be in MK for our last day :D right now we have a CRT breakfast and BOG dinner . ( I could only find reservations on our last day) so I am thinking about doing without CRT.

Regarding the holiday storyteller in China... this review of Epcot in 2015 shows a picture of a character obviously doing some sort of show. Perhaps the allears.net info was old? http://www.disneyfoodblog.com/2015/12/03/eats-at-epcots-holidays-around-the-world-2015/
I just searched for this and I think you're right. I found this too: https://touringplans.com/epcot/attractions/holidays-around-the-world-china

I think I'll watch this but I'm not sure if DH would really want to since we do see this every year at Chinese New Year! Lol!

I did not have solid plans for my last three days but I think I have a better idea now. For my last full day, im thinking of California Grill brunch then MK and Pirates & Pals at night. This requires me to change quite a few things though! Lol! It's playing switcharoo again! I'm sure I'll cry on the boat if we do end up doing Pirates and Pals... Either that or DH and DS can sleep early and I can sneak to California Grill to watch Wishes there! ;)

I scored a Le Cellier ADR for 11/29, which worked out to be good timining since we have to leave MK since it's a party night and we were going to hop to EP anyway for PM EMHs.

Now I have Liberty Tree Tavern for 2 on 11/29 @ 4:50pm that I can let go if anyone wants it. I'll be posting on the November cancellation thread as well.

they have really got to give us a break with the shows that conflict with dinner! i might just have to let that one go. or the star wars fireworks.
Right now we have a 5:15 Yak and Yeti which I am hoping will work with a ROL show.

I can't find the post where you said you wanted to see all of the storytellers to quote it but I am trying to figure out how to plan that. I don't think kiddo would enjoy doing all of them (too much sitting still and listening, which are not his strengths lol) so I am trying to figure out the most interesting and hit those. I think some of it is hard to plan because it also depends on the talent of the presenter but I am thinking of doing:
It is hard to see all the storytellers because their schedules are not spaced so that you can go around the World Show case and see them all within a reasonable time.

I've seen the China storyteller and he wears that big costume and talks about the legend of the lion man. All of the storytellers consist of one person telling their story. It is a monologue but it is very entertaining to listen to them.

All I have so far on our last full day is sleeping in, and HDDR at 6:15. Nothing set besides that. The following day Tragical Express doesn't pick us up until 5pm, so no idea what we'll do all day.

@areno79 If you aren't getting picked up till 5, I would go to a park for sure. I can't remember how many days you have, but adding another shouldn't be much at all. You could also go mini-golfing, DS or go see all the resort decorations if you haven't done that. There's plenty of time to do pretty much anything you want.

Our last day is in mk and it's a party night. We don't have tix but we have dinner at 1900 park fare so dd can finish with Cinderella. Then back to hotel to pack as we leave early the next day! Still hAvent confirmed all activities for the day but my dd is getting a mermaid makeover at Pirates league and we will catch the FoF parade.

I've had a one-track mind with planning lately...EPCOT!! :) It's the park I know the least about and wow is there a lot to learn! Thought I'd share my rough draft to get some input on what I'm missing or to see if I have any inaccuracies? So for the World Showcase, here's what our first-draft plans look like:

MEXICO:
~Donald
~Boat ride
~Mariachi band
~San Angel Inn lunch

NORWAY:
~Storyteller
~Stave Church

CHINA:
~Dragon Legend acrobats
~Storyteller

GERMANY:
~Storyteller
~German glassblower
~Karamell-Kuche

ITALY:
~Flag Wavers
~Serjio
~Storyteller

AMERICA:
~Voices of Liberty
~Santa and Mrs. Claus

JAPAN:
~Japanese drummers
~Teppan Edo dinner
~Storyteller

MOROCCO:
~Maybe the lobby of Restaurant Marrakesh for my history buff son to get a quick peek at the George Washington/Moroccan King letters (if it can be done w/o an ADR?)
~Is the "Fez House" still there??
~Stand in awe of the Moroccan architecture--looks stunning!
~The Medina

FRANCE:
~French acrobats
~Bakery
~Belle
~Pere Noel

UNITED KINGDOM:
~Photos in the authentic red phone booth
~Hedge maze
~Father Christmas

CANADA:
~Rocky Mountain Waterfalls
~Totem Pole
~Many photo ops here!

**Shopping/browsing at various places with Japan and France being our list toppers.
**Storytellers aren't set in stone. We have our faves and beyond that I think we'll just need to be very flexible.
**Snacks...ohhhhmygosh. I don't know yet?! Karamell-Kuche and the French bakery are a given, but after that I have a gigantic question mark!
**LOADS of photo ops all over the place!!
**Might be kinda fun to jot down how to say "hello" in each language and greet CMs that way in each country. :)

What am I missing??

:rainbow: MANY THANKS for any input/insight!! :rainbow:

So 12/7 we're at USO, 12/8 is the MVMCP, 12/9 is open but breakfast at 1900 Park Fare and Dinner at HDDR, and 12/10 we have until 5pm.
Between 12/8 AM and when we leave on 12/10, we plan on resort hopping to check out decorations, going to DS, and going back to Epcot because I am sure we won't get to everything in one day. DH loves mini-golf and mentioned it as a possibility, but that's an "if we feel like it" kind of thing and not a "must do" thing.

Wow, that's a pretty comprehensive list! In Epcot we just love moseying around and checking out the countries, eating, and people watching.
I don't know if I've mentioned this before, but one time we were sitting in France kind of off the side, and randomly the gate opened up and Sleeping Beauty stepped out! My little cousin was so excited she had a "private" meeting with a princess! I love those magical moments that happen that aren't planned. pixiedust:

Is anyone else having a hard time planning their touring schedule at MK? I've put my stuff in TP, but I feel like the flow is off. I set it to minimize walking, but it still has me kind of zigzagging. I manually set my order or attractions, but it still feels weird. It's actually stressing me out a little because I'm not sure what to do first or in what order. We are doing EMM so we'll have done 7DMT, WTP, and PP already. I've recently read some reviews where they had Small World open too (which would be awesome.)
I'm used to going to Fantasyland at RD, getting all of this rides done, going to Frontierland or Tomorrowland next, and getting FP's when there's a wait.
But, I haven't been since New Fantasyland was built so I feel like I *have* to split up Fantasyland in order to minimize waiting. I'm just worried about how long the lines are going to be going into the late afternoon. It's a MVMCP day, so we'll be leaving at 6:30 to get to our Chef Mickey's dinner. Any suggestions on what the order should be? The only character I really want to try to meet is Rapunzel; also Daisy Duck but she's not a must do if the line is ridiculous. I'm just feeling overwhelmed for some reason at trying to decide my plan of attack (and FP+'s!)

@Talby

Norway-FEA? and maybe Kringla Bakery

Germany-yummy holiday drinks?

US-American Adventure, CP and pumpkin spice funnel cake?

Japan-Cute Culture

France-movie is really pretty and L'Artisan des Glaces

Canada-does have a movie, but really bad for motion sickness

Thanks a BUNCH @LBlovesM&WDW!! I know we are so weird, but Frozen stuff isn't on our radar. :duck:

Those unplanned moments truly are the VERY BEST and I adore that story! See, I want it all to FEEL spontaneous and unplanned, but still sort of guided along in a low-key way. I don't want it to just feel like we're going down a checklist and ticking off boxes, you know? "Hurry up and enjoy this so we can move along"! lol Definitely DON'T want it to feel like that!! I want plenty of time to just BE and take things in as they come. :-) But still see it all!! :rotfl2:

@Talby Honestly, we are not Frozen people, but I have to see what all the fuss is about with the attraction. Also, M really liked Maelstrom, so we have to see if it was worth it to take it away.

@areno79 Aladdin came out while we were exploring the Morocco pavilion and he took my niece by the hand and walked with her to his M&G with Jasmine. It was just so sweet. When it was her turn, he introduced his new friend to Jasmine and they made a big to do--it was awesome!

@LBlovesM&WDW That's a really valid point. I admit I'm completely curious about all the fuss! Maelstrom was the ONE ride we did at Epcot last time and really enjoyed it! And we ARE going to be right there anyway....

@LBlovesM&WDW I didn't know there was a meet and greet in Epcot for jasmine!! Is there usuAlly a long line?
