The fact that there is a ton of queue space means they are expecting crazy crowds! Wah!it's beautiful. I will never see it in person, my kiddo is not interested in frozen. that said it looks like there is a TON of queue space there!!!!![]()

I'd hold it for a while and see what happens to the menu. they are supposedly making changes which some people say is "dumbing down" but honestly a few choices for picky kids wouldn't be any skin off of any head on shrimp's nose. I think you can count on meals taking an hour at a minimum, up to an hour and a half. that's what they say. I don't remember any of my meals FEELING long but maybe we're just so grateful to sit and rest at that point.I'll have to report back to you @Candycane83 and @Lisa F because I am sure I will be spending lots of time in the queue. LOL. RD for sure on Epcot day - we'll be doing the brisk walk from the International gateway. I'm hoping that it won't be more than an hour wait. What do you guys think? I guess we won't know until it opens. Surprisingly there is barely a wait for Olaf at HS.
Also regarding food...I impulsively booked Skippers Canteen for dinner but am thinking of cancelling. I don't know how long the meal would take and not sure if there's anything my daughter would eat. It looks so interesting to me but I'm thinking it may not work.
I love the snark too btw.Need help again.
Most of my breakfasts are later in the day just because 2 of them are on "down" days, and we don't get moving so fast lol. But I have one breakfast - cape may - is 9:05am. I just read where someone was talking about how touring time is ruined by breakfast that time. I feel like we have a decent amount of time at all of the parks so it should be fine - that day I am planning to spend the entire day at Epcot and I feel like between two days at Epcot and 6 fastpasses, planning to RD epcot one day, I should be able to see everything I want and keep myself pretty busy. But now I am wondering if I should really plan to RD epcot both days and do an earlier breakfast at cape may - maybe 8am instead of the 9:05am that I have planned. It means getting up earlier but then it would give us the opportunity to do both the new norway ride and Soarin' at RD (one one day, one the other day). Also that day I was planning to do an odd time lunch/linner at coral reef for the CP package so that I'm not stressed about getting to the 5pm show there.
so what say you? keep it at 9:05 and be more leisurely or switch to 8am and be at epcot for 9. I don't think I'd even make RD at 8 but we'd be in pretty early I'd guess.
I have to figure my FPs out but I think there are only 3 tier 1 rides that we want to do - norway, soarin' and test track. Mission space might still be tier 1, i don't know.I love the snark too btw.
As for the breakfast....how is touring ruined by that timespot? meaning because you lose out on prime touring hours with lower crowds? I don't think that matters if you are planning to stay late at the park?
We're doing a 7:30am Cape May breakfast, mostly out of fear that these character meals run behind schedule and we plan to RD for Joy and Sadness that day. I figure in at 7:30am done by 8:30am and get to IG by 9am and we'll still be one of the first few hundred in the park.
I also think you need to consider the tiers for FP+ at the park too - if you FP+ a tier 1, what are the chances you'll be able to do another tier 1 the same day?
I'm trying to keep the flow ok - the thing with my kid is no matter how late i keep him up, he doesn't sleep in much past 8 ever. that is his latest. so basically that is my worst case scenario and those are for the very late nights. but if i am keeping him up he will prob sleep til 7ish so kind of planning around that.Mission Space is tier 2. I would say if you're doing later nights, just leave the Cape May reservation. You'll be okay if you stay late. I'm only doing RD and early morning because 1) my daughter is an early morning kid, 2) we don't have hoppers, so RD is the main strategy and 3) this will probably be our only Disney trip ever so we want to make it as low crowd as possible.
