***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

ok so you all are going to think I am crazy... I am still trying to figure out my Ohana thing and don't know for SURE how that will all play out, and I still have to make my 12/9 ADRs because of my split stay (crystal palace breakfast, and hoop dee doo). But right now i feel kind of bummed, like i have nothing to look forward to now! I mean yes I have the trip but I have spent like 5 months planning and speculating and moving things around and now what?

wait for CP packages
wait for RoL packages

try to get Ohana like everyone else.

I guess I could spend 4 months thinking about fastpasses lol

So I have another question---

It is possible that I could knock out 1900 park fare the morning we leave for Port Canaveral 11/26. I've been purposely staying away from MK since that is the surprise portion after..

Thoughts on this?

what time did you want to be at the port? I don't remember a thing about dcl timing. if it works why not?

no I can't book 12/9. I have a split stay and am moving resorts on 12/7 and booked a place holder reservation from 12/1 to 12/8 so I could book most of my stay and get a couple of days ahead in the window for my mvmcp day because I wanted bog so badly. I only had enough points til the 8th but earliest I could check in due to use year was 12/1, and was hedging for my mvmcp day. on 12/9 I want 9:30 am cp and hoop dee doo.... don't think hoop. will be a problem. I think the other reason I has success is I am booking less desirable times...late breakfast and early dinner. I bet 5-7 dinners go fastest and ppo breakfasts too. did not attempt any of that.

Hmm, I think I read earlier on this thread that the CM was willing to book the rest of that person's stay (split stay too) and another thread that if you ask they might book it for you... I was going to call tomorrow morning to ask that question actually. If not I will be booking again on June 9 for my stay at CR from dec 6...

I just checked for you - Saratoga Springs is the only resort that has availability... but they have it. it is 20 points for a studio.

I thought it was 180 but online it shows none scheduled past 8/29.

Do they offer these on mvmcp nights?

Anybody have an issue with finalizing plans due to the fact that we do not know if animal kingdom will be a nighttime park every night? I'm going not the fact that it will be select nights in december. So for now, I have three reservations for tusker house hoping Animal kingdom will be open one night.

You know, sometimes you are just trying to cram TOO much into one trip. For me, I've decided to kind of let the RoL and nighttime at AK go for now.. we'll see how i feel later. I will hopefully have a coveted Ohana dinner reservation for saturday night which was my AK day at 5:25. If RoL is at 9pm then it will be great, I can get back there for the show (I am hoping to get a breakfast wtih tusker house package). If not maybe we'll just do illumiantions (we are staying at BWV). Not sure I will even be able to pick up that ADR but I'll try.

I think anyone's guess is as good as anyone else's and also right now the shows are 9pm and 10:30pm - I don't think that will be happening in december but it might on Saturdays in december? I really don't know.

I also have let the DVC merry member mixer go, it was too hard to keep things open for it. If I can work it in, great. if not, no big deal. I have found my stress dissipating now that I have decided to let a few things go (emotionally) and if i can work them in, great.

it is across from Disney Springs (you can walk from certain parts of SS to DS) which is not awfully inconvenient to epcot but not "walking distance or boat" convenient to epcot. it's about as good as Port Orleans I think.

Have you looked into the Swan or Dolphin? I mentioned it a while ago - half the price of BW Inn but on the boat line.

If they have it, and I can easily work it into our schedule then fine, if not fine. Honestly my "night times" are the busiest in our schedule between MVMCP, CP package, DHS night activites and all the evening meals I have planned at Epcot! Too much to worry about AK too!

My nights, too, are super busy, and the fact that MK is only open two nights during my trip
