My original package that I booked in Feb for Nov 30-Dec 7 was a TA exclusive package as well. It's a 10% RO discount at POFQ, locked-in ticket prices before the increase AND a free water park option ticket included. Our total savings (2 rooms/6 people) is $900. If we did the 20% RO promotion for POFQ through Disney, I would actually lose savings because of the new ticket prices with a total savings of "only" $500. So we're staying put with our original booking and praying that MAYBE FD gets opened up for our week......

I was a little hesitant to book as I've never booked with a TA before but fingers crossed that it all works out perfectly.

These exclusive travel agent discounts seem to coincide with the weeks that are blacked out of free dining. The same thing is happening the last two weeks of August. In the past it has been a free dining period. Well this August there were some fantastic travel agent deals for that period, like $190 a night for the Yacht Club, and no free dining for the general public. Now some people are reporting that there are once again great deals from travel agents for a week that had received free dining in the past. It seems like there might be a pattern here.

I too booked the agency exclusive deal and saved 2800 dollars on rack rate for Poly club level with DDP. She was amazing to work with as well!

I was able to add the RO discount this morning for our reservation at POR. It only saves $70 but at least it is more spending money for us! Would really like to add the military discount though, so I will keep trying.

Just wanted everyone to know that the RO discounts are showing up even at POR for the 1st week of December.
