1st week in December, Any Luck WL lately?

Had plans in place for December @ 11 months this year. Didn’t think I’d be posting a “what are my chances?” Waitlisting Thread

Starting during the 1st week of December, we had @ WL, a short cruise then, AKV starting the 13th.

just invited to a wedding we cannot miss Whomever snagged our AK studio, you are welcome lol

Wanted to add on at least a couple of days to front end of the trip since we gave up AK portion. Going to book something as a placeholder thru CRO

Managed to grab SSR studio for the day prior to WL arrival & then another night 3 days prior. Missing the night in the middle.

I’m both stalking & WL’ing it, a Tuesday. Such a busy week, no idea if there is a realistic chance of grabbing it.

I’ve never done a cash night through DVC, as prices always seemed high. Thinking it might be different inventory anyway and would have to move. Not worth it to me in that case, CRO res would be fine.

Also, a bit concerned MS might not be able to link the 3 nights into one stay due to low inventory.

I think your changes are good…when you booked cash via MS, they can combine it into one reservation.

As long as they are the same room type, and on the same membership, MS can always merge back into one reservation, even if you get them all one at a time.

To follow up on Sandi's response.....merging has nothing to do with available inventory. Essentially what they do is "cancel" all but one of your reservations (hence we get the scary cancellation emails) and put those nights in a safe space (can't be booked by others) and then add those nights to the one reservation they didn't cancel.

Oh ok, encouraging. Guess I should call MS & ask if any availability for that missing night
