1st Visit to Disneyland Buttons

Hi,
I am very disappointed and sad and I was wondering if anyone going to Disneyland soon could help me out. While we were there for three days this past week we went to City Hall to ask for our souvenir buttons for our 1st visit. We were told that they were out but to check the stores down main street. So we asked just about every store up and down main street and even other smaller stores. By Friday we were told that no one had the buttons. The whole entire resort were out of them. So we left with no buttons at all. There were 6 in our party. If anyone is going to Disneyland and can get us even 1 button I would really appreciate it. I will pay you the cost of shipping and then some if you'd like. We were really saddened by this especially my kids. Thank you so much.

Yes--several of the DisBoards Ladies were first-timers too and couldn't get a button--we couldn't understand why this "staple" wouldn't be in stock at all times. Sounds like someone in purchasing needs a talking to . . . . .

they did give our gals "Honorary Citizens" buttons and wrote "First Timer" on them but it wasn't the same . . ..

they were out april 12th as well. . . we need to get a few for some friends of ours that had their first visit one of the times we go up. . . were they still handing out the honorary citizen in its place???

We got our first time buttons last Monday. By Saturday night, the photopass guy said they were "golden" because they had run out. I had no idea they ever run out.
