Hi there - we are planning a trip to Disney in March. Our DS will be 5 and DD will be 2 and a half. He is very into Spider-man and such, and she loves the Princesses and Tinkerbell especially. We have never been to Disney before. What were your favorite things to do? Any recommendations given the above info would be GREAT! I would really love to give my family a trip they will always remember -
Thanks so much :)

Welcome to The DIS. You will love everything about WDW. You will get so much info here from everyone! :goodvibes

Hi and Welcome to the DIS

My first suggestion would be to hang around the Theme park attration and stratgy boards

check out the resort board if you need info on where to stay

There is a wealth of knowledge in the DISERS brains
i say access it all and use it to your advantage for a GREAT TRIP

one side note
are you only going to WDW??
DS won't see Spiderman there he hangs out at Universal ( yes I know I said the U word SHHH don't tell) but if you have time to hop over there it is a great park in it's own right and we even have a few boards here at the DIS to help with that

So all the being said

ASK ASK ASK away the more you ask the more you learn the better your trip :teeth:

Welcome.

I suggest you get a guide book. There are many to chose from. Our local library has them. You can go and check several out and see which format you prefer. You will need to learn a little so you can ask questions.

Then, check out the other boards as was suggested above.

For your DD to see princesses, I suggest the lunch in Norway in EPCOT. She is fairly young so may be overwhelmed.

I would suggest staying on property so you can go back to your room for a midday nap and/or swim.

Have fun with the planning. And ask away but remember you will get lots of different thoughts and you will have to pick and chose.

Welcome, you have certainly come to the right place :) It is not too early to book your resort. I might suggest that is the first order of business.
You and your family will love WDW.:earsboy:

Just another thought

I know alot of people here will recommend on site and that works for alot

but you may want to check out off site and there is a board here for that too

we normally rent a vacation house
gives us more room
a private pool and the kiddos some down time

also is usually less expensive

this Dec will be our first ever time onsite
and our 4th trip in all

PM if you get lost around here and need a road map
I'll do my best to help

you may want to concider going at a time other than March if you can as it is very busy and the lineup's will be long and the cost is higher . I do agree with the other posters check the DIS

TourguideMike.com is a great site filled with great information! If you access his site FROM the DIS you get a discount!
