I have been to Disney several times over the past years. I've gone in February, June, October and once in mid September. I have only ever bought trip insurance when going on a Disney cruise, however this year I am going in early September and I just felt I would rest easier knowing I'd have some backup in case of a hurricane.

Let's hope I don't need it!!! :wizard:

(ps- used insuremytrip.com easy breezy)

We mostly go in May and never got trip insurance. However last year we went the last week of Sept and we got trip insurance just in case we needed it. We had sunny days all week only 4 hrs of rain one night.

Hoping you don't need it and that you have a magical vacation:wizard.

We will always get it from now on. Our middle daughter nearly needed surgery a few das before we were leaving for a cruise. Thankfully, the doctor said it was OK to wait until we got back but I will always have trip insurance from now on. Not to mention that everytime we travel there is either a hurricane or blizzard! We had to add 2 days to our Disney trip last year, we paid OOP for it but trip insurance would have been nice.

Yes...I'm hoping Murphy's Law will apply..."I have it, now I won't need it" ;)

Yikes!
:scared1:

We are going the first week of September too and I too am scared of a hurricaine. I got the trip insurance as well. After spending all that $ what was and extra 140 ish gonna hurt. Like everyone said lets hope we don't need to use it!

Im not so much worried about a hurricane but rather someone getting sick before we go or even morso someone getting sick or injured DOWN THERE and needing treatment.
.

I just added a day to my trip and it was no problem to adjust the insurance...it was only $3 more! :thumbsup2
