1st trip w/o dd's!!!!

DH and I are going to DW in six days w/o our dd's!!! I am so excited. After the morning I have had with my pre-teen dd , I no longer feel guilty about going. She is so moody!!! I need a vacation.

Six more days until a romantic get away with my DH

Just had to vent!!!!

I know you will have a great time. My DW and i went in 2004 for our 20th wedding anniversy with out our dd we had a great time. There's so much to do as a couple have a great time.

You will have a great time! My DH and I go a couple of times a year without our pre-teen DS and teenage DD. Our kid-less trips are so relaxing. We always miss the kids while we are gone and then end up wondering what exactly we were missing once we get home to the moodiness, the bickering, the whining....

I know I will miss them. They go to camp for a week at a time, but that is totally different than me leaving them to go to DW

I can't wait. I am really looking forward to this trip. My DH has been working 18 - 20 per day and he needs to get away.

he has been working those hours and work is actually letting him have a vacation.

Actually, we don't know now. He came home last night and said, "They are canceling vacation days for everyone!!" He said that he told them that we was going on vacation and they could just not pay him. His trip was paid for and he was leaving Saturday AM!!!!
