1st trip to Hilton Head

I rented points via this board and spent the last 10 days at HH. I can't say enough good things about the island and the resort. Everything was nicer than I expected and my expectations were quite high! The activities programme was very good despite the resort being very quiet some of the time we were there. I was a bit concerned that children used to two weeks at WDW would be bored at HH but not at all. We all had a great time - highly recommended.

I would think children used to 2 weeks at WDW would get bored with WDW. Mine do after 1 week.

HH is a nice change and lots of great stuff to keep anyone from getting bored.

Though I LOVE WDW, I think HH might be my favorite DVC resort that we have stayed at. Glad you enjoyed it.

The weather was beautiful! We really got lucky, didn't we? I thought we would only be getting one day with temps in the 80's, but we got nearly the whole week!

Sigh... Disney's HHI is my favorite place to be!

Yes, the weather was great. I don't think I had a sweater on in 10 days. Probably saw you around Denise. Were you at the campfire, magic show or any other activities? We spotted a few Jersey licence plates on cars.

We were at the campfire Wednesday night (although my dh and I were keeping a low profile since we are quite familiar with the songs and such and Mike was planning on making my dh the biggest tinkerbell ) and the kids did Kids Night Out on Thursday. My kids love the CMs at HH. My dd cried on our last night b/c she didn't want to leave. The kids left notes for Mike as they are huge fans of his.

We love HHI so much (walks on the beach, Savannah, GA, etc.) that we will not visit OKW/WDW until 2007. We think trips to WDW needs a rest until new venues are provided.

We were at the campfire too. My daughters were the very unenthusiastic Tinkerbells during the story. I like to think I put on a better performance!
