DH and I are taking a DF with us to OKW Feb '08 and I am having a difficult time coming up with a few things that might make up a little Christmas basket of stuff to get her a little more reved up!

We have the soap and shampoo stuff from our HHI trip earlier this month, so that is my start. Does anyone know if the Disney Store sells a waterbottle with character cover - she could use that at the parks. I was thinking about a planner - but that's a lot of $$ for something she wouldn't use again - unless we brought her again! I can print a copy of "what to say to the characters" and scrapbook cut the pages - might be cute - would definitely make her laugh.

What small type gifts have you given to DW newbies?

You can go to your local craft store/dollar store and get Disney stickers. Then purchase a small photo book and put stickers on several pages. also buy a 2008 pocket calendar and count down the days til your trip using stickers. A Disney character sweatshirt is always useful in Feb. Look around and you'll see many small inexpensive disney things to put in your basket.

Thanx for the great ideas. I will have to check with her dghtr to find out if she is a picture taker. Maybe I can find a small book where she could save postcards if she isn't a photo taker. The stickers would be cute for decorating - they would also be cute in the countdown calendar!

I bet I could find an inexpensive ornament, too - could be part of the giftwrap.

Buy her a Disney character T-shirt. Bet you can find a relatively inexpensive one at the Disneyshopping.com (or its outlet). Don't forget to use your DVC discount.

Even if she only wears it when you are there, it will be worth it. Tell her everyone wears Disney T's when they're at the world, even if they are in their 80's, LOL!
