Okay just a few thing that I would like to suggest. Know what parks that you are going to prior to trip, Tour Guide Mike's is great and a lot of people I talked to used it too.

On our first day a Sunday we chose Animal Kingdom, got there at 8:30 and this nice lady that works there came up to us ( I think we looked that confused) and asked if our 6 & 7 yr old sons would like to open the park. I was totally floored. SO we got escorted in and they had a blast and everyone was so nice. They got certficates and everything. The lady told us to run as fast as possible to the rope drop area in front of the tree of life so we got there before the mad rush. We were there with about 20 other people at this point and this nice guy named Ben came and asked what we planned to go see first. I had it all planned out I said the SAFARI, he said well this is your lucky day, you and your family get to come with me now and go on the safari while everyone else waits for the park to open.

We got to ride with Ben and Annie our driver in the vehicle by ourselfs and have a private tour . And we got a special certificate that said Honorary family with an all day FAST PASS to come back whenever we wanted for the rest of the day.

We passed this along to a couple and there son that we on the Kali Rapids with us and were also staying at WL, we saw them on the bus in the morning.

But this was how we started our first day in WDW in our first park on our trip. And I think that a little pixie dust must have been thrown upon us that first day.

WOW!, How great is that. Can't wait to hear more. Sounds like it started out to be a great trip. :thumbsup2

Hey, that was us!!! Thanks again! It was so nice getting Evan on without the wait. For some reason, the pass was dated for the 16th though it was only the 13th -- was that CM having a rough morning or what? We then continued the pixie dust the morning of the 16th at the WL bus stop by handing the pass to a family going there (AK) that morning -- so you can say you helped more than one family better enjoy their day.

Then our families share the ride to MGM and the turnstiles. Then we lost you after the rope drop! Hope you had a great time!

Yes at MGM we kept changing our minds where to go from there and our youngest had to go to the bathroom....LOL doesn't it figure. But ended up at Star Wars.... How did it go with the Lego's for Evan's Birthday? Did you end up mailinf them back to Ohio.
We are now talking of planning a Disney Cruise for next year.....And I am still up in the air about DVC....I think I got the husband and kids addicted!

I am so glad that we gave you the tickets for AKL safari. I hope the rest of your trip went well.

Take care

Enjoying reading your report ~ Thanx for sharing.

Stacy,

We never experienced a cast member going out of their way -- other than the Birthday Button at the MGM gate. I have to say, your "pixie dusting" of the safari passes was probably the best "unexpected" thing that happened to us on our trip. You truly made our day!

Now as far as the Lego Store is concerned, let's just say I should be on their Christmas card list. Credit to them, they're really easy to deal with and they made shipping extremely easy. Because of the quantity being shipped, it was easier for them to order the items out of their warehouse and have it delivered -- the delivery fee was close to what I would be paying in sales tax otherwise. Kelly at the register was absolutely great -- she would have Evan go and get the kit he wanted off the shelf and then she would take it and add it to the online order. This way he would think he was getting the exact same kit he carried around when it arrived at home. An additional "thumbs up" to Ginny at the block wall who truly knows her stuff. As a whole, I thought they were very impressive.

I'm using Tour Guide Mike, I love planning my days, my husband thinks I am nuts. Last nite he actually asked me what days he needs to ask off for. I told him, "you have your name on a plane ticket for April 4-12", men, sigh.

Wow, neat Pixie Dust at the AKL.
