This is "our", myself, nephew 8, niece, her husband and 2 kids (ages 7 (boy) and girl who will be 5 during the stay). We will be arriving Sunday 3-21 and departing Sunday 3-28. We have 4 day park hopper passes and a 5 consecutive day Universal/IOA pass. We are staying at the Dolphin from Sunday to Friday and from Friday to Sunday at Portofino Bay. Here is what I have planned so far:

Sunday - HDD 7:15 PS made. We will probably go to SeaWorld after we check in at Dolphin.
Monday - Magic Kingdom CRT 10:20 and Liberty Tree Tavern PS's made.
Tuesday - MGM - Fantasmic Dinner Hollywood & Vine PS 4:30 made.
Wednesday - AK- Donald's Breakfastosaurus 9:20 PS made.
Thursday - Epcot - Cirque du Soliel tickets for 9:00 pm show
Friday-Sunday - Universal/IOA

I'm budgeting around $250 per day on food for all 6. Is that enough? I would like to do Disney Quest, Dixie Stampede and Kennedy Space Center but I'm not sure if we will have time. I went to Dixie Stampede in Nashville and my niece and her family went in Myrtle Beach and we all loved it! But for SW, DQ and Dixie Stampede passes, it would be an add'l $600. I'm not sure if I want to spend that much more $. The entire trip for everyone is on me & my sister is a Christmas gift...and I'm already way over budget :teeth:

Comments, suggestions, advice are welcomed.

You're going to have a blast! IMHO I would not schedule the extras (Kennedy Space Center- I have been and it's about an hour's drive and 1/2to 3/4 of a day to see, but it is great - can you save it for another trip? -and Dixie Stampede). I think if you are only spending 4 days in WDW parks there will be way more than enough to keep you busy day and night. You have already spent the $ for those park tickets, I wouldn't spend more and then wear myself out trying to do too much.

You are going to love staying on-site at USF - you get the FOTL privilege and will not have to wait in any lines - but I still think there is more than enough to fill up Mid-day Fri to mid-day Sun with the two parks and city walk - remember, you will also want to have some pool and hotel time to enjoy the beautiful Portofino resort! - If you are already adding in SeaWorld and Cirque - you have a very full plate for 8 days!

The younger kids will probably love DQ - mine did!!:smooth:

I feel your plan is too ambitious traveling with kids. They will be overtired.

I believe you are underestimating the size of Disney Parks.

If you plan 1 day for MK with 2 PS's, you will probably only be able to see half of the park.

Epcot is a 2 days park, if you want to do Epcot in 1 day, probably you will have 3 slept kids in Cirque du Soleil. And you will miss Illuminations

Be sure to have relaxation time on Wednesday afternoon, you will need it.
