1st Timer to DLP - Just Got Back

Here are a couple of pics of the information boards that i took. It was around 5.45pm, the parade had finished and we thought as so many people seemed to be heading out the gates the wait times for the rides may have improved. Clearly not by that much. I can't believe Indiana Jones still had fastpasses available !!

Welcome back, glad to hear you had a fantastic time, when are you going back?

Can I just ask how you knew there were 47,000 people in the park? Is it written up somewhere, and if so, where?

We ate in the Blue Lagoon that evening and we were talking to the waiter and he told us.

Queues for the rides was awful. We made the mistake of going to the Studios that afternoon and we honestly could not move. We ended up coming out after about half an hour as we couldn't get anywhere and there was no chance of getting on any of the rides.

I'll try to do a trip report asap as I've just downloaded my photos onto my computer!

I experienced many Saturdays with so many people that can even happen to you in January.
But i think last Saturday was so busy because Switzerland had School holidays and it was a Bank Holiday in Germany on Friday (perfect for a long weekend trip).

i think last Saturday was so busy because Switzerland had School holidays and it was a Bank Holiday in Germany on Friday (perfect for a long weekend trip).

Also it was the start of the Halloween Festival I think.
