1st Timer Question: CDG to Disneyland Hotel(s) -How??

Okay - here's question #1 I've read very many of the threads and am not being able to piece the information together

My first trip to DLP (and Paris, for that matter!) is in May.

I land at Charles De Gaulle airport.

What are my next steps? Do I take a shuttle, bus, train, etc. to the hotel?
I believe I take a shuttle to the train, the train to a bus station, the bus station to the hotel?

Or are there shuttles directly to the hotels? I'm thinking of staying at Santa Fe.

I've read about TVG and the VEA - but again, I'm a little slow here and not understanding the connections

The VEA is the disney shuttle bus which picks up at the airport stops at all the onsite hotels.We have never had no problems with it and its easy to find. If you book a flying package with disney it is included in the price. If not i think it cost about 13euros. However if you are arriving at night they do have a last bus, I am not sure if the time that this is as we always arrive in the morning.
I hope some one can help you a bit more regarding this.

I am not sure about the TGV i think that its a train.I am sure that someone will be able to better than i can.

Yes, the VEA may not be the quickest way to DLP but, it's one of the easiest. Here is a link to their website- then click on Practical Info for timetables and prices.

Hmmm (looking at itinerary)

I arrive 14:05 Terminal 2F.

Since I am arriving so late, and the parks close as 20:00 on that day (I checked!) I was wondering if I could get checked in and to the park for at least 4 hours (i.e., can I be off the plane, at the hotel, checked in, etc. by 16:00?).

The VEA goes from Gate 5 of the Gallery - Level 0, exit 0.09.

What day of the week are you arriving on - the times vary depending on the day.

At least your stop is the last one on the route, so once on you should be straight off on you way to DLP, instead of going all round the airport. Of course, they may decide to do things differently that day.

I think with arriving on a Saturday you'll obviously hit some weekend traffic, but at least it is not at peak time in the morning and evening.

VEA is definitely the most straight forward.
You could leave you luggage with reception at hotel, pick up your passes and head straight to the parks

On Saturdays the shuttle are at 15:10 and 15:55 - all being well you will be able to get the 15.10. Definitely in time to get a few good hours in the park.
