here are my initial thoughts and what i might do differently-

we were there dec 3-6. it was a perfect time to go , crowds were low, several rides were walk ons, we didnt wait long for anything. It rained all day on friday 4th. that probably helped keep crowd levels low.

DDP- it can be a little frustrating- not sure if i would pay for it, but it was nice that it was free. The quality of our TS meals were just ok- not sure that i would pay OOP for them. But it was nice to sit down and be taken care of for an hour or so.
We did lunch at Kona, Breakfast at CP and dinner at 50sPT. I thought CP was very expensive for the quality and variety of food. Character interaction was great.

Our first night was MVMCP- as a first timer it was kind of hard to figure out the park for the first time in the dark.

We did DHS on our 2nd full day (12/5). DHS has a slower pace so it was good to kind of take a break after 1.5 days at MK. On the other hand it was our last day so i think we ended our trip on a low note. It may have been more fun to do MK on the last day.

We used touring plans for MVMCP and ridemax for the other days. RM was most helpful at DHS just to help schedule all the shows we wanted to see.

all in all, the kids had a great time and we will definitely be back

oh- and DDs favorite rides were splash mtn, jungle cruise, goofys barnstormer, TSM and TOT. she turns 5 next week
We didnt much care for Muppets 3d

Glad that overall it looks like your trip was a success! Lucky for us we went to DHS the first day on our first trip, so I understand what you mean!

We usually end our trips at MK, but we have to make sure to book our return flight in the evening so we can be leaving MK in a rush to make our flight instead of leaving it at night and going back to the hotel room sad and knowing we won't be back for a while!

Looks like you had some good advice for first timers! :thumbsup2

Alwyas interesting to hear a 1st timers thoughts.

Just goes to show, "different strokes for different folks". CP is always my favorite place to eat. For some reason, all their food just agrees with my tastebuds.

I'm glad you had fun, sounds like a quick trip.
