1st timer buttons

I was told that my kids can get first timer buttons to wear while in the parks and sometimes cast memebers will do special things for them. Where can you get these, resort or park and how much are they?

If you indicate that it's their first visit on your reservation for an on-site hotel, they may have them for you at check-in. If not, you can always ask at check-in.

There is no cost.

I would not expect special treatment from CMs though. There is a chance your kids will get some but they may not. Just don't set yourself up for disappointment and consider it a surprise if you do!

My grandchildren wore their first timer buttons the whole vacation and I don't think they got noticed by anyone, including CM's, very often. It was cute for the pictures, though.

My kids wore first timer buttons and my son wore a bday button. The CM's didnt do much with the first timers buttons but my son got A LOT of attention from the CM's with his bday button. Everyone from ride workers to people in the parades to characters ALL wished him a happy bday. We went to the gift store after Mission Space and the CM there made it look like Goofy was looking all over the place for my son to wish him a Happy Birthday. So he got to talk to Goofy on his bday...it was Great!
You can get the buttons as soon as you walk into MK. Go through the train station and make a left. I think it's Town Hall next to the firehouse. Someone is standing outside with a cart filled with pins and they're free.

You can get buttons at your resort or any of the customer service locations in any park.

There was a stand when we got off ME with a CM giving out buttons...1st visit for DD, Anniversary buttons for me & DH, and Happy Birthday buttons for DH & FIL.
