Continuing with my Character Breakfast at Minnie's...

Brer Fox was coming around and I finally snagged him for an autograph.

And of course a picture

Next up was Suzy mouse from Cinderella. (Thank goodness Fairy Godmother was around to tell me who she was because I had no idea which mouse she was!)

Brer Fox locked himself outside! Of course I was nice enough to let him back in!

Minnie came around again and I got a better picture (kinda) this time!

Brer Fox was trying to swipe some food!

Rafiki had been wondering around for awhile but wasn't stopping by my table. I finally got him to hang tight for awhile and got my autograph!

Captain Hook was planning something! (Sorry, blurry pic)

Oh... he was planning to trap Rafiki!

And then I finally got someone to take my picture with Rafiki!

And then I decided it was time to grab a Mickey Waffle!

And some more fattening bacon and potatoes!

Brer Fox once again got himself stuck outside!

Finally my tummy was full and my time was up at Minnie's. I could have stayed all day I had such a great time!

However it was not quite over yet! I caught Geppeto as he was coming out!

I wanted to let those of you who don't know already why this report is taking so long!

I am a night shift RN and except for the week I went to DL in December I have been working a ton of extra hours since I returned from my vacation in October. Normally I work 3 days a week and I've been working 4+ days plus the holidays have had me busy. I work 5 days yet this week and next and then it is blissfully back to just 3 days a week. (Although I am always looking for more shifts!)

Anyways... that is my reason for being so SLOW on this! Some mornings I am just exhausted so I have trouble staying awake let alone trying to remember what I did 2 months ago! This report will get finished!!

Paula, it's totally understandable to me why you are away for a while. I once worked for a Hospital and I understand how the shifts go. I mainly worked with the department directors or the CNO. They were easy to find because they work M-F 9-5. But if I had to interview a RN or CNA it could be really hard to track them down since they would be away for a while. Plus when they were there I didn't want to take up their time if they were busy with patients, so I would follow them around with my note paper and ask them questions on the fly.


BTW your character interactions look really incredible. I can't belive you got to meet Gipeto.

I don't have time to post a full update today but I did want to tie up my character Breakfast with my thoughts on the whole thing!

I LOVED IT!! The food was decent. Nothing really extraordinary but it was definitely edible. I liked the potatoes the best! I'm also always a sucker for Bacon! Even though I like it a little crispier.

The Character interaction was extraordinary! The characters spent plenty of time with everyone and were very charming. There were lots of characters. It was a GREAT start to my last day at Disneyland and definitely worth the price!

As far as going solo. I felt like I missed some great pictures because there was no one to snap them as I was interacting with the characters. I also felt kinda bad asking everyone around me to take pictures but I would definitely do it again!

If you are considering a character meal I would definitely recommend Minnie & Friends!

That is great that you had accomadating seating neighbors. Was the breakfast quiet? Do you think that is why they spend a lot of time with everyone? Or Just excellent interactions?

The Breakfast was quiet but it was not empty. I'm not sure if the other half of the restaurant was busy but all the tables around me had people at them.

I think the reason the interaction was so good was because of the # of characters. If there are only a few characters it feels like it takes a long time for everyone to come around. Because of the # at Minnie's there is always at least one character around.

Wow! I cannot believe it's been almost 2 months since I updated my trip report!!

I had planned to come back in January after I was done with all my extra shifts and finish up but I decided I was going to try and get healthier this year so instead of visiting DISboards when I got home from work I was working out. This lead to me being exhausted and not wanting to spend the time on the computer.

However... I want to get this trip report done so that I can get started on a PTR for my next trip! Or at least my next hopeful trip!

Are you ready to continue my journey with me (or at least what I remember of it?!?!)

So I had gotten up to telling you about 4 of my 5 days on my first ever trip to DL. On the morning of the 5th day I went to Minnie's and friends character breakfast at the Plaza. This was so much fun and I HIGHLY recommend Minnie's to anyone making a trip to DL!

So after my breakfast with Minnie and her many friends I headed to Pixie Hollow to meet up with some of my fairy friends.

While in line I snapped a few pictures of the scenery

First up was a visit with Silvermist.

Then I took a few more pictures as I waited for Tink to be available for me.

Finally Tink was ready for me! or WAS SHE?!?!

Tink was actually upset I was wearing purple and NOT green! She insisted next time I wear green so that I prove she is my favorite. Vidia on the other hand was quite happy with me as I was wearing purple. I said purple was my favorite color.

After the visit to Pixie Hollow I decided to see if there were any Villians available that I had not yet visited with.

I came across Cruella de Vil who wanted to know if I had any dogs. I told her yes I do but they are small dogs and she said well that was no good.

Next up it was time for a trip on the Storybook Canal. This was my first time to get on the boats.

Such cute little houses.

Apparently the water level is down. Maybe the rain we were to get later that day will help it out.

And then there was this couple accross from me. Ha-HA

The little trees are just so cute!

And of course I had to get a picture of the castle!

I wonder if Jasmine is home?

And then my camera batteries decided to die so no more pics of the rest of my canal trip...

I spent the next couple of hours simply wondering around and taking pictures. I took some of all the statues in the hub.
(I won't show them all here!)

I love characters! I especially love it when they interact with you instead of just standing still for the picture. I know I'm an adult but I'm a kid at heart and I love the interaction!

So happy to see I still have a reader! I've been gone for so long I'm sure many will not return to read. Going to continue anyways!

After I was done with pictures in the hub it was over to the Haunted Mansion for some pics there. (I don't believe I rode it though!)

And then it was up towards Critter Country I went!

And then it was down to the Pooh Meeting Spot

And of course my favorite picture from the trip! If you are my friend on facebook you of course have seen this!

I tried to have the CM take a picture of us "Jumping" but she didn't get our feet!

After visiting with my favorite friends I headed into Pooh Corner to check out the treats. I was planning to get a tigger tail but I really don't think the new variety with all the sugar on the outside is for me. I then thought about getting one of these yummy looking apples....

I finally settled on one of the regular caramel apples and despite my awful cold I had developed by this time it was wonderful!

I took a seat on a bench (somewhere... I have no idea where! ) to enjoy my apple.

After that I headed to the Round-up area to capture pictures of all the wonderful carved pumpkins...

I also ran into Woody!!

And the wonderful carvers at work.

I asked the carvers if they were tired of carving yet. They laughed. Said nobody asks that. They said everyone usually says they have a great job!

And then Jessie was about to show up!

I wish the person taking the picture hadn't zoomed in but oh well beggers can't be choosers!

After the round-up it was time to wonder around the park some more...

We're flying to the States in August and going to Disneyland for 6 nights. My kids aren't very familiar with what's there, so I love to read the posts to them and show them all the great pictures.

Did I mention that this day was about the pictures? I did ride some rides... eventually!

It was time to head over to the Villains Character spot to see who I could find. I first came across Captain Hook. Whom I had met at Minnie's earlier in the morning but it was still fun!

And then I met Gideon whom I had never seen before.

Next up was back to the hub for some pictures of the castle.

And as I am trying to get the right pictures of the castle Bert shows up!

The did a fun little skit but you could tell they were trying to hurry because of the rain!

One little pointer I learned about was that if it is raining they do not do the Jedi Training Academy. While this was not so good for the kids who wanted to do it I learned that the Star Wars Characters come out for a Meet N Greet instead of the academy.

I got to meet Darth Maul! He was scary!
