It is just ds (10) and me....
During our upcoming trip, we are venturing out and visiting both Sea World and Aquatica. This will be our first visit beyond WDW and I have tons of questions. (In fact, I have 3 Threads addressing these: "Getting There?!", "Food?!", "Not To Be Missed Attractions?!")

First of all, I think I have picked good days to visit each (I hope so, because Disney ADR's are all done!). We will be staying at a WDW Resort 8/25-9/7. We will visit Sea World on Thurs. 8/27 and we will visit Aquatica on Tues. 9/1. These days are listed as 7's on Touring Plans for WDW. I hope they will be good days at SW and Aquatica:confused3 Does anyone know if there are good/bad days to visit these two parks?

Big Question:
What should we eat? There is so much information about food at WDW and hardly anything regarding food at SW & Aquatica. And not to sound cheap, but I really just want to know how much the cost of food will set me back (and if it is worth it!). We are on the Dining Plan and I am seriously considering packing a soft sided cooler and taking cold sandwiches, etc from the resort food court and just purchasing drinks and ice cream at Sea World. Would this be allowed?

Any opinions and/or experiences would be wonderful....pictures even better!

TIA

My wife and I bring a cooler with sandwiches whenever we got to Sea World. Frankly, I find the food at SW and BG a step above WDW, but we go so often that it would get pricy eating there all the time.

I also think the food at Seaworld is much better than at Disney. At Aqatica you can do the all you can eat for the day (I believe it was Banana Beach Cookout) and it was about $10 for my daughter and $20 for me. It was basically Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, chicken legs, mac and cheese, salads, brownies and all the soda you can drink during your day. Hope this helps.

I just read on the SW site (missed it the first time) that said no coolers or outside food or drink allowed inside the park.

So I guess we will not be taking a cooler to Sea World.

Okay then, so what food/restaurant will we enjoy there?

The Sea World website has menus listed. You might want to take a look to see which place appeals to you and your family
