Planning far in advance! Thanks for all the info i've already read.

I am assuming avoiding Thanksgiving weekend will be a good idea due to being very busy - are there any other weeks in November that are advisable to avoid? (also Halloween).

My kids will be 4.5 and 6.5 we will be staying in an RV. Probably not with our dog. Hoping to spend a week at the Fort. Will be the kids first time to "do disney"

Thanks!
Andrea

Welcome, I'm sure you'll have a great time! I don't have any particular advice about those dates, but doing the Fort and Disney the first time out is bound to be memorable.

What sort of RV do you have? What type of site do you plan getting?

Have fun!

Well... we will either be borrowing my in-laws fifth wheel or picking one up second hand by summer. (likely a fifth, but possibly a tow behind). They have a big nice one, only a few years old, but we haven't borrowed it before.

No idea on site type etc. Any recomendations for how far in advance i should be booking? Hubby said "well there's so much to do in Florida, i think only a day or two at disney will be enough" so i've gotta be working on him NOW! neither of us has been since we were kids.

I usually book as soon as I'm able -- 499 days in advance. Yes, that's over a year in advance, but you only have to pay a single night's stay as a deposit.
