Hello.
I'm a regualr to WDW, but in October I finally get to visit DL.
I'm sooo excited! Wooooo Hooo!
Well anyway, I was wondering if 3 days is enough to see everything?
Also, does DL do anything like the Mickey's Halloween Party?
We will be there from the 27th to the 30th.
Is there anything that I must absolutely see?
Any advice is welcome.
TIA

Lisa

For DL, three days is a good number. Are you planning to visit DCA as well?

In regard to what not to miss, my first recommendation would be do the things you can't do at WDW (such as the Matterhorn, Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin, Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye, Tarzan's Treehouse, et al). Also, Haunted Mansion Holiday should be open at that time, which, IMO, is a real treat! Now there are attractions found on both coasts, but, many times, it's the same concept but carried out somewhat differently, so don't necessarily write off doing an attraction/show you think you already know, especially in regard to such things as PotC and Fantasmic!

As for a Halloween party, while there was something in the past, I think it's been a while since they've offered such a thing.

Thank you JenniBarra!

One more question.
We are staying at the Park Vue Inn, which from my understanding is right across the street. I was wondering if there are any restaurants within walking distance of the motel.
(That is other than at the Disney Resort.)

TIA

I think Denny's would be the closest and easiest of the chains. Also nearby is Millies which is close to a marie callendars. Further down there is a Tony Romas.

IHOP used to be right by Tony Romas too...

Down the street across from the Candy Cane Inn is a Chinese restaurant and there is also a McD's somewhere down by your hotel.

Also, don't forget how close to Downtown Disney you'll be. I kept forgetting it since I'm so used to sprawled out WDW. :)

Hi Dl does not do a halloween party (we were in WDW last Oct and did the HP there it was great). What DL does do is they decorate the haunted Mansion up like the Nightmare before Christmas featuring Jack Skellington It starts the first weekend in Oct. We will be there the 10th. It is not a special event you do not need special tickets like the Halloween party in WDW. Also close by hotels the HOJO, West Coast anaheim, Fairfield inn by Marriott, the Candy Cane and the Carousel are all close by and pretty good. Do not miss Indiana Jones and Pirates is better here in DL. Also with Splash mountain you get a different view as the log is narrow and you are all seated in a row. You also will have to stand for Fantasmic or find a piece of grass or a wall to sit on. Unless you want to pay approx $40 for one of two resverved seating areas were you also get dessert nver done it but I hear it's pretty good. Resturants the Blue Bayou in Pirates is my favourite Disney one close by you have a Tony Roma's very good and the usual Denny's IHOP and Mcdonalds also one called Mimi's Cafe and Millie's at the fairfield inn. Hope I haven't rambled to much just love talking about DL have a good time.
