We normally go to WDW each year. My daughter loves to do the pin trading. Is there pin training in Disneland?

WDW has a lot better opportunities for trading, and many more shops for buying pins. DLR has only a few good pin locations and I hardly ever see people trading. Still, take the lanyard with some pins and if nothing else, you can trade with CMs.

Don't expect to see many people with lanyards of pins at DLR.
They were all over the place in WDW when I went and then I came back home, went to DLR and found no one doing it. There are some hardcore collectors that hang out on the corner of the central hub and Adventureland but I find that they have little interest in what pins I own. But they let you look through their books of pins if that is something yoru daughter might want to do. C:

A good pin shop is in Frontierland, right by the entrance to the land from the central hub. Go there and have your daughter talk to them about pin trading and what special offers they have - I've gotten a few free pins this way!

Also, first thing in the morning, go to City Hall and the CM's inside will usually talk to you if you have a lanyard of pins. I get free pins here occasionally.
