1st time staying in DVC, what do I need to bring?

there is absolutely NO reason for you to bring towels... just ask the lady cleaning around the halls I the am, or keep your pool towel, no one cares! everyone brings their pool towel home and then takes them back.
bottled water for coffee, unless you like chlorine flavored coffee and I am a picky coffee drinker so I bring my own.
they have blow dryers. we always have snacks on hand, there is a thread on here , " studio dinning and recipes... check it out. I think it will help you. Have fun! you're gonna love it! :cheer2:

Thank You so much. I have one luggage just for towels!!!!

I now plan to leave them in the car, just in case.....:snooty:.

Again, thank you. :flower3:

Yes, some of us do care because we want to keep our dues as low as possible. Members or people renting from a member have no right to stop the housekeeper in the hallway and ask for extra towels. If you want extra towels, you buy the towel pack for $6.

Just got back. We ended up paying the $6. for the towel package it was worth it. We did bring face towels from home, we purchased for $4. for a package of 18 at Walmart. We did leave them behind. We were unaware that you can not bring the pool towels from the pool. More than once we bought them with us to the room because it was pouring rain and we took our towels and ran. Could not use them to dry because they were wet.

It's okay to bring the towel (used) you covered up with at the pool back to your villa and later return it to the pool. But not okay to bring a stack of dry towels back to your villa.
