1st time on wait list - what are my chances?

My wife and I are on the wait list (1st time trying this) for both the BCV and BWV for 1/6/10 to 1/11/10 in a 2 bedroom villa. Just wondering what people thought our chances are of getting either one? Thanks!

There is no way to tell, but if it will make you feel better, your chances are great!

Sorry to be a downer but I have been waitlisted for BCV for July for 5 very long months now and it has not come thru. Doesn't look like it will. Good luck!

We have waitlisted twice at BWV. One time in September and one time in hard to get October and was able to get it both times. I think the facination this year with BLT will help those wanting into hard to get places like BWV and BCV. I think your chance are good.

Hi, About 2 weeks ago my waitlist for BCV's July 12-16 came thru for a 2 bedroom dedicated. I had the 16,17 and 18th so I had waitlisted for 4 nites in the dedicated or 7 nites in a lock-off. I felt July was a REALLy busy time and this probably would not come thru so I was pleasantly surprised when it did!! I feeel you have a GOOD shot at it. Joan

I just posted about getting BWV after a week on the waitlist for Sept. I was trying for standard view so am very happy it came through!

I have two waitlists going on (both for each of my sons) for the first time. I think I would have a better chance waitlisting only the nights that were not available instead of the entire stay.

I did not want them to take a chance though and have to move. Hopefully everyone get's their wait list and congratulations to everyone who does

Thanks for everyone's input. Found out today that the wait list came through the very next day!!! Requested it on 6/6 and it went through on 6/7 for a 2BR at BCV. Here's hoping everyone has as much luck as I did.

I would agree. This is what we do...we fill in the individual days...most fill in very early after the 7 month window....but you do have to accept the risk of having a day right in the middle in your original resort. We have always been successful doing this but there is always the chance. We are ok with the risk when it is just DH and I. We wouldn't accept it so easy if we had the whole family or a larger travelling party with us.
