1st time on DDP - going deluxe!

We are staying at the WL in a deluxe room because there will be 6 of us. We are going the first week of August.

How does this look to all of the DxDP veterans?

Day 1 - Dinner Spirit of Aloha

Day 2 - Lunch The Wave
Dinner Whispering Canyon

Day 3 - Breakfast O'Hana
Dinner Hoop Dee Doo Review

Day 4 - Breakfast Boma
Dinner Yak & Yeti

Day 5 - Lunch Le Cellier

Looks great to me. Just make sure that you have lunch and dinner really spaced out on the days that you have both.

I hope you picked a late seating for Spirit of Aloha. We went in early April and it was so very very hot. The show was good but the food was not. All in all it wouldn't have been such a terrible experience except for the heat.

Is Day 1 Arrival Day? If so, I would avoid a ADR that you will be charged if you don't show up. (Just in case you are delayed in arriving)

Thanks for replies. Day 1 is arrival day for 3 in our party - 2 are driving and 1 flies in fairly early. I think we will be okay making the Luau! We can't wait...went last year for our 10th anniversary and this year we are taking my parents!

Heat...well...it's August, we planned the trip, so we suffer the consequences! Last year my DH and I instilled a "DO NOT COMMENT ON THE WEATHER!" rule - if you said something you had to give $1. Noone said anything and it made the trip much more bearable! Same rule applies this year!

haha..we have the same rule. i keep telling everyone that free dining comes with a price. we chose this so we live with that choice, its no secret that florida is hot!!

I counted 16 credits, how many nights are you there?

Looks like you have a nice variety of meals planned. And I love your rule about hte weather. I thik I need to have that same rule (keeping in mind, the rule is for me!! )
