We will be staying in a studio at the end of June, not near hospitality house. I don't know much about this resort, except for reading here. What would a good request be? Any suggestions would be appreciated :)

If you request building 27 or 62 you can get on the buses at the HH bus stop and go right out to the parks w/out having to make internal stops...then when you come back from the parks you can get off at the 1st stop at Penninsular Rd (next to building 26). The HH with the main pool and boat to Downtown Disney is close by as is Olivia's, the store, the poolside CS place, the poolside bar and the kids club room.

Turtle pond area (buildings 30-44) is nice...they have a nice quiet pool with a snack/drink counter. You will have to make lots of internal stops on the buses though.

Another couple buildings that I'd like to stay in sometime are 45 and 46. They are on the canal and you can watch the boat come/go from Downtown Disney while sitting on your balcony.

I like 32-35. Right by us stop. Quick walk to Tutrle pond pool area and a pleasant walk to HH. We've stayed in those buildings 3 times now.

I like the Turtle Pond area. Its quiet the pool is nice and you can get snacks there as well.

Turtle Pond bldgs 30 to 35 are my favorites, but 45, 46 and 55 are also great for canal views. 45, 46 and 55 will have the best views.

Most OKW studios are on the ends of a building, so it is rare to get one with a really outstanding view. Pretty much a studio is a studio is a studio at OKW.

My favorite buildings are 15, 16, 17, and 18. They're close enough to walk to HH, but far enough away to be quiet. Also, they have great golf course views.

We just stayed in the Turtle Pond Area building 37. Very nice, short walk to pool and bus. Plus we were in the cul de sac area so the bus did not drive right past our room and it was very quiet. I would definitely stay in that area again. We love OKW!

We stayed in building 35 and loved it. It was nice and quiet and an easy walk to HH (at least in Oct. with low humidity).

Could someone please remind me the building number that starts the 1 br villas with the bathroom door in the laundry room? Dh and I are staying there in March with 26yo DS, and really would prefer to have the second door.

Thanks........Laura

Buildings 30-64 have the extra door to the master bath through the laundry room

Funny this came up. We out a request in for our june stay for near the hospitality house like it said on allears. It got filled yesterday so our other room was cxed and now we have a new res number. I assume all that is correct. My question is should have I asked for a specific building or all those buildings kinda near the main pool and bus stop? We never stayed here either all out friends said we have to try it so we are.

Thanks jim

The Near HH buildings are 11 to 14 and 23 to 26, with other neaby buildings used as overflow if there is a problem with the "official" buildings or if a bldg goes down for rehab.

Bldgs 11 to 14 will be just across the parking are for the check-in area, restaurants and main pool. That bus stop is the last to load before the bus leaves for the theme parks.

Bldgs 23 to 26 are a short walk across a bridge. Those buildings are at the first bust stop as the bus enters OKW, and first to load. There are 5 stops throughout the resort. It is only a short walk to the main pool, check-in and restaurant area.

Here is a resort map:

If we can't get HH we request Miller's Road area. We love the quiet pool and we can still walk to HH if we want to.

Thanks for the map and all the suggestions. I think I have it narrowed down to Peninsular Rd area or Turtle Pond. Is it best to request a specific building or a range of buildings (e.g buildings 27-29) ? I'm so excited about this stay! I've heard such great things about OKW, who knows maybe it will inspire an add-on :)
