Trying to research off-site hotels/resorts/villas and my head is about to explode!

Looking for a few key things:

1. At or under $200/night
2. Great pool(s), lazy river a plus
3. Rooms with fireworks views
4. Balcony

Aaaaaand GO!

Thanks in advance!

Wyndham Bonnet Creek would give you all that and more for much less than $200 a night. You might want to read the we looooooooove bonnet creek thread.

Yep Bonnet Creek is the only thing I can think of that have all three. Some of the Disney Springs hotels offer fireworks and balcony (Buena Vista Suites I knows offers both) but do not have a lazy river.

The Hilton at Bonnet Creek (don't confuse this Hilton with the one at Disney Springs, or with the Wyndham) is at that price point, very well-reviewed, and has a great pool complex with a very long lazy river. It's located inside WDW, and has a free shuttle to and from the theme parks. Be aware that it does have a resort fee (and a parking fee if you bring a car).

Hilton Bonnet Creek can be around 142 before the resort fee and taxes
Waldorf Astoria around 164 fees are 25 hilton and 30 waldorf last I was there. Fireworks view from rooms will be a bit higher. We often book a suite at Waldorf for 231 and as diamonds with Hilton are upgraded to a larger suite.

I second Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress if you are looking for a hotel rather than a home/townhome/condo. We stayed there in 2014. Ask for higher floor room, pool view. We saw fireworks from more than one park, our kids loved the pool (we normally stay at the Polynesian, and I think my kids liked this one even more, no lazy river, but they do have caves to swim through....not heated in that section of the pool and it never gets sun due to caves so be aware. We traveled in early September, and it was fine to swim in.). Drawback for us.....full size beds rather than queen if I recall correctly.

It was like being on property.....short drive! GPS took us through back route that I think Cast Members take.....easy access to WDW parks.

Be aware of resort fee b/c they offer tons of activities.....resort fee is not optional even if you skip all the activities.

They have buy 4 nights get 5th free summer deal, and they offered that 2 years ago so must be a standard offer.....that gets you into good price range.

Good luck!

another vote for Hilton Bonnet Creek. I've gotten deals there for $124/night. Lazy river is awesome.

Always wanted to stay at the Villas at Grand Cypress. Great location as you take the back roads back by Fort Wilderness in. Its how I like to get to Winn Dixie and ABC even when I stay on site (FW, OPR, and other) and Bonnet Creek. You avoid all the insanity of driving by Hotel Blvd/Disney Springs and trying to turn on Vineland.... So much easier!!

You can find Villas at GC on sky auction and hotwire for a decent price too :)
