1st time in years

We have a day and a half to do DL and DCA. We're staying at HoJo's for one night. Figured we check in, then head over to the park for the afternoon and evening. Up early next day, check out of hotel (leave car in lot!) and head to second park for the day.

Any suggestions for itinerary once there? Haven't been to DL in years and don't even know where to begin!! Will be with 3 adults and 2 kids (7 & 13).

I would use the first half day for DCA (kinda depends on day of the week though, and what kind of tickets you'll have). The absolute must-dos there are Soarin' Over California, California Screamin, and Grizzly River Rapids. People have posted rave reviews about the Aladdin show too. Next on the list (as far as things to do that WDW doesn't have) are the Sun Wheel and Maliboomer. I also really enjoy A Bug's Life and Muppet 3D, but they have those at WDW (I'm not sure if you're a frequent WDW visitor). Definitely try to do Soarin' first, or get a fastpass. You'll probably want to go on it again!

For DL, must-dos are Indiana Jones and the Matterhorn, as well as Fantasmic!. I also love the Space Mountain and Pirates at DL. If you have time for a sit-down lunch, make a ressie at Blue Bayou.

If you have time, maybe your first night, walk around DD, which is different from WDW. Walking around DLH and GC are also really great too.
