Have visited the World before, but this will be first holiday visit. For those who've seen all the holiday decorations, what do you recommend as "not to be missed?"

Osborne Lights and the Castle lighting ceremony at dusk. If you have time take the monorail around and see the decorations at the hotels. We really like the Grand Floridian decorations.

Yes! Osbourne lights at DHS are a must as well as a visit to the Grand Floridian and the Wilderness campground! Of course you can not leave out MK castle lighting ceremony! We love trying to get to the other resorts to see the decor there, but the GF and WL or resort are our favs! There are just so many extras during the holidays at WDW it's soooo incredible! Can't wait to be there in 6 more days!!!!! Enjoy your trip!

100% the MK Castle lighting ceremony. The Castle is totally beautiful, and NOT to be missed!

I really love the lobby of the Grand Floridian with its Holiday decorations. Really beautiful, and filled with the season. All the resorts are beautiful this time of year. The tree at the Wilderness Lodge is particularly nice.

Sayhello

We visited WDW last year from 12/5 to 12/14
and loved the Osborne Lights!! :santa:

One thing I didn't expect & would do differently was
how rushed I felt in my Christmas prep when we returned.

If we do another holiday visit (and I hope we do someday)
I want to see the storytellers in Epcot.

Our previous visit was in late Sept.
The crowds and weather were much more to our liking in early Dec.

Have a magical trip

I would hit the Wilderness Lodge and check it out in all of its splendor. I would also hit the EPCOT resorts. There are some fantastic sites to see.

We liked the Grand Floridian's Gingerbread House--amazing detail, and look for the hidden Mickeys. The Beach Club with the chocolate carousel was very nice. Don't miss Osborne Lights, and take in the MVMCP--the parade is the best part. We stayed at Wilderness Lodge during Christmas--the tree is nice, but its biggest feature is its size--probably 40 feet or so. The rest of WL is very nice to just walk around to see all the various decorations.
