1st Time Driving

We are driving down at the end of May. Any suggestions for where or where not to stop? Scenic routes? Interesting attractions? Does everyone go I-95? We will have 5 kids with us, ages 8 to 13. Driving from SW Virginia

From there, I would say take 81 to either 77 or 26, then down to Columbia, SC, then follow 26 to I-95, all the way to Daytona, and pick up I-4 West. You may be able to swing a route going 85 to Atlanta, then 75, but I don't have info on that way.

Can't help with interesting attractions though, going 26-95-4.
